All you did,
You did as a friend.
I thought you had your love hid,
Too hidden it seems to blend.
All the smiles you gave,
Only meant to be a friendly one.
Never thought you'd have me a grave,
For all my love that you have won.
I wish we were more,
Than only friends.
For it leaves my heart sore,
Cramping to its very ends.
I've always wanted you,
And thought that you loved me.
But I guess we're not the perfect two,
And our time won't just let us be.
