Last summer,
I loved you and you loved me,
We spent all our days with glee,
Never knowing that now it'd be a plea.
Last summer,
Our love felt like infinity,
It's too bad now it felt differently,
With me missing you miserably.
This summer,
We stand thousands of miles apart,
With both half of a hearts,
And not one ready for a kick start.
But next summer,
I pray to never feel this way,
Say the love I've been dying to say,
And for our love to never go astray.
