Hermione POV
The battle of Hogwarts has been over for two weeks now. Faces flash in my mid. Tonks. Fred. Remus. Colin. And everyone else who died. As I think of them it is like a little punch in the gut. I can't believe it. They're dead. Gone. Lost.
"Hermione, are you up?" Ron asks from the other side of his room. I was staying at the burrow, staying in Ron's room. He has another twin bed on the other side of his room that I had been sleeping on.
"Yes, Ronald. You know my rule. Don't talk to me until eight in the morning," I yelled at him grumpily.
Ron checks his cell phone.
"Come on!" Ron yells at me, "It is 7:54 in the morning and I can't talk to you till eight!"
"What is SO important that you need to talk to me at 7:54 in the stinkin' morning?" I ask.
"DO YOU WANT TO GO TO THE LEAKY CAULDRON TONIGHT FOR DINNER?" Ron pretty much screams.
"YEAH, SURE AS LONG AS YOUR BUYING!" I scream back.
Soon enough, Ginny barges through the door.
"Why are you guys screaming? It is 7:56 in the morning?" She asks, rubbing her eyes.
"Stay out of this and leave it to the grown ups," Ron says.
"First of all, you are only a year older than me," Ginny the cranky sixteen year old shouts, "And second of-"
Mrs. Weasley comes right on in.
"Why are you guys bloody SREAMING at 8 in the morning?"
"Never mind it, mum," Ron says quickly.
"I don't mind it," Molly says, "but just ZIP IT."
She walks out and Ginny follows her.
"Okay, I need to change," I say and start rummaging through my trunk. I pull out a Gryffindor tank top, white converse, and some cute ripped jean shorts.
"Then go change in the bathroom," Ron says, shooing me away.
"Well no duh. It's not like I was going to... CHANGE IN HERE," I shoot Ron a disgusted look.
I leave immediately and head for the bathroom. When I am done changing in Ron's connected bathroom, I look around. I mean who says I can't snoop around? I start looking in the cabinet and see a note. I read the paper and it says: I love Hermione.
How sweet.
