Ashlyn's pov

Me, Shawn, Justin, Monkey, Kentucky and, Chris were at Midwest, and Shawn was acting weird, well weirder than normal. So as he was working on Murder Nova, I walked up and asked him if he was OK or if something was wrong, he said he was fine but I knew something was up

,We all went to lunch and came back, with nothing to do, oh and Megan was there to. "We need to have a forth of July pool party!" Megan said suddenly. "What?!" Justin said shocked. "A pool party!" Megan repeated. "Well, now that I think about it, it's a really good idea. Justin said with a smirk, looking at Shawn then me. "is there something I should know about?" I asked. "No everything's fine. Shawn said. "Damn it, Shawn I know somethings wrong, so either tell me or I'm done, for good this time. I said getting angry. "Fine, but can we talk in Private​?" he said putting his head down. "Hell no, whatever you have to say to me, you can to them to." I said somewhat yelling. "Ok, if you really want to know, Nicole's mom had cancer, they found when she was here the last time, she died yesterday, she called and told me this morning." he said. "So that's why you've been acting weird, all day." I asked. "yep, that's why, but have I been acting that weird?" he asking. "Oh, yea." Justin piped up. "Well forget it lets get this pool party underway, oh and its at mine and Shawn's house, seeing as how we have a pool already." I said walking out of the shop. "Ok, so Ash are you not going to assign jobs?" Chris asked. " Oh, ya right." I replied. So here the list of jobs:

Chris: beer, drinks and, food.

Justin: go with Chris.

,Shawn: call the whole list even the ones he didn't like.

Me: go get the guys bathing suits (I have a key.) and get myself ready, plus make sure Justin and Chris got everything to told them to, and make sure Shawn called the guys on the list. So needless to say I've got a lot to do.

,So we were all having fun, and I was sitting in one of the chairs outside the pool, when Shawn came over, got one knee and pulled out a ring. "Ashlyn, you've been with me through thick and thin, and I'll be the first to admit, yes we've had our ups and downs, but we've got past them all, so will you, Ashlyn Harley Day, do me the huge honor of marring me?" Shawn asked. "Yes, of course I will marry you!" I squealed jumping on Shawn and kissed him and as I did fireworks went off. We all looked up and when I looked back down I kissed my finance. Was this my life?
