"It's not new if I liked you." She tilted her head in thought.

"Yeah, I guess so. It's whatever. If you really don't like it though, I'll stop." I shrugged and laid my head on her.

"I don't care really. Just don't say it around them. Because they'll ask why."

"Yes ma'am." She kissed my forehead. "I think I'm just gonna go in there. They can't be making out that long." I raised my eyebrow at her. "Okay maybe they can. I don't care though, I'm hungry.

The both of us got up and I got her crutches for her. We walked, well she hopped, into the kitchen. Emma and Lori were talking as we walked in. Lori was leaned across the counter and so was Emma, but they were just talking. Lori jumped up surprised and turned a deep shade of red.

"Hey! Guys, what're you doing down here? Oh! The food, it's almost done just a few minutes. Sit down!" She said nervously. Emma shook her head at her but smiled.

Hayden and I sat at the bar next to Emma, across from Lori. She turned and began cooking again.

"I came to check on Hayden. How's that leg?" Oh yeah I bet you did come for that.

"It's fine. Doesn't hurt right now." She said frowning and looking down at it. I knew she wanted more than anything for it to just heal. And I wanted that for her. She's in two different types of pain, mental and physical, and it's hard to deal with that. I personally know, myself.

"That's good." Hayden nodded still frowning and staring out in space. I grabbed her hand and rubbed the back of it gently. She looked at me and smiled before pecking my lips.

"Well Emma since you're here you might as well stay for dinner." Lori told her, with a gleam in her eye.

"Might as well." Hayden said, smiling. She looked at me and I could tell something stupid was about to come out of her mouth and I slapped the side of her head.

"Hayden no! That's enough, you told me you wouldn't." She grinned and pulled me off the chair and closer to her.

"I didn't think you were serious." My eyes widened.

"Serious about something like that? Yes I am. I'm gravely serious Hayden. Do not talk about that down here." I told her softly but sternly. She nodded and rubbed my waist.

"Okay, I promise I won't. For real this time. I'm sorry baby." She whispered. "It wasn't gonna be obvious at all though I was just gonna say,'Emma while you're here we might as well have a threesome.'" I rolled my eyes but laughed at her.

"Shut up, just stay quiet." I told her covering her mouth. She licked my hand and I raised an eyebrow. "Come on now you think that'll make me move it?" She raised her eyebrow and I smirked. Then I frowned, half my hand was covered in spit and her mouth too. She'd opened her mouth and began drooling from the sides. "Hayden that's disgusting." I told her frowning. She shrugged and wiped her mouth.

"Well you challenged me. I never back down from a challenge." I rolled my eyes and sat back on the barstool. "So Lori, about that phone call earlier." She turned around confused.

"What phone call?"

"Your lover or whatever." I wanted to laugh at the looks on she and Emma's faces. Emma actually grinned but Lori blushed.

"Hayden... why would you say that?" She asked.

"Well because I didn't know if they're a girl or boy or how serious it is and that's good enough." Lori shrugged.

"Okay. Makes sense I guess, I'll let it slide. What'd you want to know?"

"Well, I just wanted to meet them soon. But at the same time I'd like for you to take your time and introduce them whenever you're ready. Just know that as long as you're happy, I'm happy. I mean, you already look happier and that's what I love to see." She turned and smiled widely at Hayden.
