Crimson

I spin and I sway, away in my dream,

My cares are gone in the wind.

I'm cut free from the weight of the burden on my shoulders.

I'm free from the day, I now give it to you,

I lie among the leaves, "Yesu I love you"

"You have raised me out from the pit,

Through the crimson blood that you dripped."

The crimson surrounds me, painting the sky,

The twirling leaves dancing by.

The crimson flames in the fireplace.

The crimson blood stains on my Saviour's face.

The crimson of the blood that bled for me,

The crimson of the blood that set me free.

The crimson blood,

The crimson blood,

The crimson blood poured over me.

Yesu I love you, the crimson rose,

Trampled afoot, a love unknown.

Your love that saved me from my sin,

The loved that washed me in crimson again.

I sang this as I was walking in the paddock today. I just looked up at the red trees, and the fire in the sky. The crimson everywhere just hit me. God's sacrifice is beautiful.
