What Now? || Jalissa [COMPLETED]

*Jake's POV*

          It's been 5 years. I love Alissa but, I broke my own promise. Never have sex before getting married. I'm just too nervous to propose. I've had her engagement ring for about 2 months now... when will the perfect time come?

"JAKE!" I heard a huge roar come from the living room
"What?!" I screamed back
"ALISSA! CALL THE AMBULANCE!" The voice shouted back
The baby! Shit...Little Jakey here you come!

We reached the ambulance and here goes me and Erika with the rest of the crew in the waiting room. I still can't get the thought out of my mind...when is it the right time?

"Nervous?" Erika placed her hand onto my left shoulder
"No.." I shook my head. Her face revealed a concerned look
"What's with the facial expression then?" She asked
"Oh, nothing." I replied. I looked down at my feet and my legs started to shake
"By the looks of it... that's something."
"Well-"
"Jake I'm so happy for you! I can't wait to see this amazing, beautiful looking baby!" My mom came rushing in to hug me "What's the-" She paused. "...what's wrong?"
"That's what I was about to explain to Erika." I replied
"Well... shoot it out!" My mom sat in the chair right next to me
"Ok.. so.. umm.. I've been wanting to propose for awhile. I just-"
"EEEEE!!" Erika squealed
"Shh! Let him finish!" My mom hushed her
"I just don't know when it's time to propose mom... Erika... I need it to be... special." I finished
"Jake, why not after her birth giving and when she holds the baby in her arms while laying in bed?" Erika listed

That's actually not a bad idea. It'll be special, exciting, joyful, ect! I think I should do that!

"That's a great idea! I should do that!" I smiled
"Great! Can't wait to see this! I'll film everything!" My mom clapped her hands together
"No, mom, Erika will... sorry but, you're terrible at filming things mom. I love you so much... but just do this little favor for me ok?" I laughed

"Mr. Paul" I looked up to see a young nurse with a clipboard and a pen
"That's me." I waved my hand
"Any friends you brought?" She asked
"Yes ma'am." I replied
"Ok!" She smiled and wrote something down onto the paper that was attached to the clipboard

"She's ready."

         This is it. Time to see the baby. Time to propose. I'm so excited... and nervous. I hope this turns out well!!
