She entered the room, his heart skipped a beat. She looks stunning, her hair was a deep purple. Her eyes skim the room; they are as green as emeralds. The fabric of her dress clings to her every curve but falls from her hips to just above her knees. Gracefully she walks to the counter; she has the look of a woman on a mission, Soren knew he could use that to his advantage and he would. She looked like she had money, that's just the thing Soren loves to have and maybe that's not all he could get from this woman, he would take all she had to offer, drop her where she wanted to go, get paid and then leave, simple. He thought.

"Nope, I'm fine." She had said to him. Was this lady crazy? Didn't she know this was no place for a woman to travel alone?

Soren watched as she walked away and out of his sight, was he really just going to let her leave here alone? No he wasn't, he may be many things, but careless wasn't one of them.

Soren followed her, in the cover of the tress, Echo, his Vallenari following closely behind. She wasn't happy when he told her what they were doing.

It's not like he was stalking her, he was heading in the same direction as her anyways.

The purple haired lady was a graceful rider, she made it look effortless. Her hair flowing in the breeze behind her, she would look around every now and then, to make sure nothing was there.

Soren saw them before she did, next thing she was surrounded by four men on horses. Soren couldn't hear what they were saying, but he certainly knew what they wanted.

She barely had time to draw her blade before they knocked her to the ground. She quickly rose to her feet, not wanting to give in that easy, she slashed her blade at the first man that ran at her. He fell to the ground, gripping at his leg, blood flowing from it.

The next one was more careful, but he too was caught by her blade. The third was a giant; he managed to slip past her blade and dropped her to the ground with a blow to her face with his fist.

Soren wasn't going to wait to see what happened next, yes she could handle herself but there was just too many of them. Soren urged Terra to go faster. He whipped past one man, slashing him open with his sword as he did. Terra came to a stop and Soren dismounted her in a hurry, racing towards the now bound woman, slung over the brutes shoulder, she wasn't fighting back.

The man dropped her to the ground with a thud; she laid there motionless.

"You bastard!" Soren shouted through clenched teeth, raising his blade, Soren charged the man.

A flurry of blows rained down on the man, Soren not flinching when the man's blade nicks his arm.

Echo comes racing on her horse, they man seeing he will shortly be out numbered, and he mounts his horse and races off.

"Find and kill him, Echo!" Soren shouts as she flies past him. Nodding, she continues after the man.

Ophelia opens her eyes, her head ringing, and face on fire. She is met with worried, blue eyes, the colour of the open sea.

"Are you alright?" Soren questions, as he helps her sit up.

"I...I think so" She replies groggily. Ophelia rubs her sore face, winching when she gets to her cheek, "How did you get her?" She asks, suddenly really confused by him being here.

"Well I was on my way to Sentinel, and this is the only way there. Just be thankful that I was coming past when I did." Soren says, omitting the whole truth.

Ophelia shakily rose to her feet, looking around for Nylah.

"Don't worry, Echo will bring your horse back when she comes back." He assured her.
