Infatuation

I felt at ease,
Vulnerable.

As soft crashing waves
Your topaz glance drowned me,
And in the blink of an eye,
You disappeared

Ephemeral is it?
For beauty shan't be eternal,
Slowly will the seas' current
Wash away its castles.

But you're here.

My sweet forbidden apple,
I've sought land and sea
Solely to find you,
And now that I have
I will perish at last,
In your arms.
