they can rebuild a soul,
and give them hope
if said by the right person

but they can also tear an individual down,
make them weak and frail
they can snap their spirit,
even quicker than they are spoken

so think before you carelessly throw them around
think before you shoot your harsh words at me
because your words are spinning bullets
that are aimed at my heart
