Elizabeth scrambled out of bed quickly and slipped on her dress and headress. She shoveled down her pancakes and syrip and was about to leave the palace when Alice called to her from the kitchen, " Liz, why don't you ask Catherine round tonight?" Elizabeth was so shocked and gave her a look of disbelief. Ask round Catherine?! Is she mad?! "She will only tease me!" Elizabeth whined.
"She might not. She probally is just jealous of you and wants to be your friend."
Elizabeth shot her step-mum a look of disbelief. Before taking her bag outside and mounting her horse.

She tied her horse up and was about to go inside when she heard someone crying. She turned around and saw none other than her worst enemy, Cathrine Taylor, crying her eyes out on a little wooden bench. She walked cautiously over to the bench and sat down. Then she did something she never thought do before and asked Cathrine what was wrong. She cried harder buring her head in her hands her golden curls covered her face. "What's wrong? Please tell me Catherine," Elizabeth soothed. "Why do you care?" Catherine replied, rudely.
"Because i hate seeing people upset."
"Fine! I'll tell you," The girl told her, "you know Edith likes to hang round with rich people" Elizabeth nodded, she'd learnt that from past experiences of Edith trailing along behind her until she had finally snapped, "well this new girl came. She was richer and obviously Edith being Edith went over to her to worship her and the girl told her not to be friends with me." Catherine cried harder and Elizabeth awkwardly patted her on the back before suddenly remembering what Alice had said. "Do you want to come round for tea?" She asked, worriedly biting her lip. "Yes of course!" Cathrine cried with joy and both girls went in to lessons chatting happily.
