What'd I tell you before, huh, the only downfall to his charms would be his personality. His crude, obnoxious, and arrogant personality. And now that I've seen the true colors of this fruit head, I wanted to order an ice cream pie and smash his face in it. Without a tip, too!
He was such a sweet guy at the diner. Goofy and sweaty, but sweet nevertheless. I was even considering on giving him a chance. But he better let go of that wish because it won't ever come true. Ever.
He swallowed the sandwich as we watched the food travel down his throat slowly. Once the meal had cleared his throat and landed in his stomach, he replied casually, "It is my house."
Hmm, something doesn't add up. The busboy sitting here with too much ego and pride just notified me that this is also his house when Daniel only told me of one twin, who I still haven't met by the name of.
By the name of--
"Derek?" I queried. The busboy smirked towards Parker and clapped his hands. They even shared the same smirk! Who shares the same smirk! The way their lips perfectly curled up to the side of their face was too much for a girl like me, a girl who wants to scream whenever she sees that smirk. Having Derek doing it wasn't as effective as Daniel's but it was the same.
"I knew Danny couldn't keep his twin a secret." My assumptions were correct and I realized the resemblance between them. Besides the side cut and rusty blonde hair, they were identical. Seriously their looks were uncanny. I'd mistake one for the other.
I traced back to the party when I saw someone who looked like Daniel walking down the steps with Gwendeline. It was Derek. The hair made it known. Daniel still had the edges of his hair in tact. I'm shocked I didn't notice it earlier. I'd be lying if I told you that didn't bring a smile to my face because it did. I was elated to know that Daniel never did get his fix on with some slut or any other slut that was there.
"Sorry for coming off as the disrespectful one. Hi, my name is Derek and it's nice to see you again Emily." He waved eagerly, almost mockingly. I only nod and glared to Daniel who had confusion still present.
He assumed what I was thinking and said, "Yes, I'm the troublemaker and he's the goody two shoes."
What a shocker! You being the bad one? Oh the world doesn't make sense!
"I heard that!"
Brain, only think aloud when I ask you to. Other than that, don't make a sound, you hear? But that was not what I was about to ask. I enlightened him on my real question, "Why were you so mean to him the other day at the diner?"
"Yeah, why were you so mean to me, your loving twin brubber?" Derek mocked as I sent a threatening glare his direction. He flinched back and mumbled, "We've got a fierce one here, don't we?"
I rolled my eyes back to Daniel and waited for his explanation. He shrugged followed with the rustle of his head and he sighed, "Like I said before. He had a job to do, which didn't include him making dinner plans with you." Parker retorted, scratching his head all the way to the bathroom.
Minutes passed in silence as we heard the shower turn on and Derek began to rant, "Don't believe that fart for a second, Emily." His brother looked to me with a flat face. "He was being a meanie because he didn't like the fact that I was about to ask you out for dinner."
My interest level had rose and I was at the peek of curiosity. Daniel shouldn't care if his brother was making a move--well, trying to make a move on me if we're just friends. Unless he...oh, I don't know...likes me? A skip to the heart made a faint smile appear on my lips. I wanted to hear the words, just to make sure my hunch wasn't off.
