Caleb was sitting in the front, in the middle row of mrs. Wolfhard's van was Gaten Finn, and I, and in the back was Millie and Noah.
I sat, looking out the window. Finn and Gaten were chatting, when I got a text from my mom.
Momz: hey sweetie, I need to tell you something.
Noradrenaline: yeah?
Momz: the Duffers want you to audition for the show!
Noradrenaline: WHAT!?
Momz: So I signed you up for an audition tomorrow!
Noradrenaline: WHAAAAT!?
Momz: now sweetie, I know you're not fond of acting, but your the perfect person,
they say!
Noradrenaline: Mom! You know I dislike acting, but signing me up for an audition! I
can't even with you right now! I gtg. Bye.
I stop texting and sigh audibly, Finn noticing first.
"Nora? What's wrong?"
"You wouldn't understand."
I said, forcing a smile.
"I so would, just tell me!"
Noah looked at me, and gave me the 'text me' look.
"Maybe later, okay?"
Noradrenaline started a chat with Noah-it-all
Noah-it-all: what's up, Nora?
Noradrenaline: mom is making me audition for the show!😫
Noah-it-all: that's great!
Noradrenaline: DO YOU EVEN KNOW ME!? THIS IS TERRIBLE!
Noah-it-all: you'd get to hang out with the cast, be more social!
Noradrenaline: you already knew, didn't you.
Noah-it-all: yeah
Noradrenaline: you little
Noah-it-all: LANGUAGE
Noradrenaline: well then who even am I auditioning for.
Noah-it-all: Katherine
Noradrenaline: but I thought she was already cast-
Noah-it-all: she WAS
Noah-it-all: but she quit because she had to... love Finn?
Noradrenaline: WAIT WHAT
Noah-it-all: yeah, he'll help you with your audition
Noradrenaline: WAIT WHAAAAT?
"Could you two stop texting?"
Gaten asked, rolling his eyes. I did what I would usually do, and glared at him. He playfully stuck out his tounge, and mrs. Wolfhard interrupted our little fight with a comment that didn't really please me.
"So Finn, is Nora you're date?"
We both blushed, and immediately replied,
"Nonononono"
She laughed,
"Okay then."
Being Finn's Katherine would be hard.
