Innocence *Twilight*

Chapter 7

Emily, Leah, and Charlotte met Alice and Rosalie at a central location in Forks. Emmet and Jasper dropped them off so the girls would be able to ride with Emily, Leah, and Charlotte. Rosalie couldn't help but fall in love with the tiny girl as soon as she got into the car.

"Hello little one," Rosalie says softly while smiling. Charlotte smiles and blushes. The little one gets shy and hides a little bit. The girls chuckled at the sight.

"She is just precious," Alice says happily. Charlotte sits in between Leah and Rosalie in the back seat and sneaks glances at every one before staring at her tiny fingers. It almost seems like she's in her own little world.

"Everything okay Charlie?" Leah asks in a soft tone to receive no reply. Emily glances in the rear view mirror to look back at The little one.

"Is that, you know, normal? She's like zoned or completely," Emily had concern in her voice. She was new to all of this and assumed they would know sense they lived with Dr Cullen.

"We aren't sure, but we'll ask Carlisle," Rosalie says with a but of concern as well.

"Don't worry Em. Everything will be okay," Leah says trying to cheer up her friend. "Now let's do this stupid shopping trip." This causes the girls to laugh knowing that Leah hates the idea of a shipping trip.

They soon arrived at the shopping mall in another town a little ways away from Forks. Emily gently takes Charlotte out of her car seat and carries her into the building with the other ones walking beside her. Charlotte looks around the huge place seeing bright colored signs and tons of things in the windows of stores. She couldn't help but feel tense as her head began to pound.

Charlotte refused to say anything to the adults about what truly was going on. "Are you okay baby girl?" Emily asked gently. "Is it all the people?" Charlotte hesitated then nodded while hiding her face in Emily's shoulder. Emily gently rubs the little ones back trying to calm her down.

"Maybe after looking around for a bit she'll calm down," Alice suggested. They all nod thinking it's a really good idea. First they start getting her cute outfits, pajamas, random clothes, and underwear. Charlotte tries to feel most of the fabric and see if it's the kind she wants. But, she misses a few on accident.

After a while of looking they go to the food court so Leah, Emily, and little Charlie can eat. After a bit of looking they decide on Panda Express (Legit one of my favs). Emily gets Charlie a kids meal of teriyaki chicken and fried rice, and the two get different types of chicken and rice. ("Very specific.") At first, Charlotte is hesitant to try this new food, but finally tries it. She smiles big after trying the first bite and eats almost all of her food.

"Easy there munchkin. You don't want a tummy ache," Leah says as she gently pokes the little one's tummy causing Charlie to giggle.

"How about we go hit up the Disney Store then Babies R Us?" Rosalie suggests to the small group as they throw away their trash. They all nod and agree.

"Didney?" Charlotte asks curiously.

Alice softly chuckles and picks her up gently. "Disney, baby girl. It's a place that has really cute movies and has theme parks." Charlotte tilts her head still confused at what it is.

"We'll go to the store and show you. We'll help you pick out a couple things okay?" Rosalie says softly. Charlotte smiles some and nods. They all make their way to the Disney Store. When they get there, Charlotte looks around in awe. She looks to an area and her eyes go wide.

"Uh uh," she makes small noises as she points a time a section. Alice takes her there and they look at the "Aristocats" collection. "MARIE!" Charlotte says excitedly.

"Okay okay. Inside voice baby," Emily says with a smile. "Do you want this?" She asks as she picks up a cute Marie stuffed animal.

Charlotte claps her hands excitedly as Emily picks up the toy. "Thank you thank you thank you!"

"And how about this?" Rosalie picks up a Marie pajama onsie.

"Yes yes yes yes!" Charlotte shows the brightest smile they have ever seen. Emily smiles big. Happy that she is happy.

After looking around some more, they end up buying a few Disney movies, toys, and clothes. Charlotte starts rubbing her eyes and yawning as they walk into Babies R Us.

"Jsut stay awake for a second to pick out a room theme then you can nap ok baby?" Emily holds Charlie as she nods into her shoulder.

They look around and she finally picks out a really cute theme.

"Perfect," Emily says smiling. After a few minutes, Charlotte falls asleep as the girls finish up shopping. On the way home, Leah and Emily drop of Rosalie and Alice at their home. They then continued to Emily and Sam's home. They unload all of the bags after laying Charlotte on the couch.

After putting things away Sam and Emily take Charlotte up to her room. They change her and tuck her into bed. "Our baby girl," Sam says softly. Emily smiles up at them and kisses him softly. After watching her for a few minutes, they go to bed.

Fun fact: Aristocats is one of my favorite movies.

And my birthday is May 30. If someone wants to get me the "Dear Evan Hansen" soundtrack or Marie stuffed animal that would be awesome 😂😂.
