The next day me all of us had a sleepover when my alarm turned on I woke up and looked outside confused it was still dark. People walked onto the side walk looking at the sky confused. The tv turned on as the news announced there was an emergency. We where having our first solar eclipse in years. I woke up the others and we all went outside. School was canceled and the day was full of celebrations. I tried to Call my parents and was sent straight to voicemail. I was suddenly filled with worry. But of course I couldn't go to the police because everyone work on the world was closed. The news announced that the eclipse would last extra long for 24 hours. It ended up lasting longer....
