Sometimes, you can't help but wonder when exactly things began to go wrong in your life. Haven't you ever wondered what might have happened and if you could have done anything to stop it?
It's almost like you're in a car crash and everything is happening so fast but in your head it's all going in slow motion. You're completely powerless to stop it.
You can see what's going on but there isn't a single thing you can do to stop the coalition waiting to happen. Then it hits and the car tumbles over the edge into the depths, you're strapped in tight and the force of the dark waters immobilize you. Everyone around you, everyone you've ever loved, is drowning but so are you yet all you can do is watch no matter how much you struggle.
That's life.
It's a car ride that suddenly spins out of control and the next thing you know is that you're drowning.
Scarlet Thorne is still drowning, strapped down in that sinking metal heap once called a car into the depths of nothingness and there's only so much I can do even though I'm drowning and everyone and everything else I ever knew and had around is going down as well.
I'm drowning, Scarlet Thorne is drowning above water.
