CHAPTER 3

Mayas phone buzzed waking her from her sleep, it wasn't really sleep she couldn't sleep just thinking about that triangle

"Maya we need to talk" A text from Lucas was sitting there

"How Ranger Rick your in Texas" she sent back rolling her eyes

"So? We can text or wait till i get back in 9 days" he replied

"Okay i'll wait" Maya then put her phone

"Hey maya, I didn't think you'd reply it's 2 am..why are you up?" He sent back, Lucas was confused on this

All maya did was send an emoji the emoji was a Triangle

She stared blankly at her phone

"Oh" Oh is that all i got lucas said to himself rolling his eyes waiting for a reply

Maya read it and she knew that he knew she read it because it says the read symbol..but she didn't reply she switched her phone off and headed back to sleep... Well at least try to.

Maya and riley were supposed to meet up today at the Cafe just down the road from Riley's house

"Look there's Maya" Topanga said pointing down to the road from the living room window

"Oh Yay!" Riley runs down to the apartment door so Maya would cross to her

Topanga was still watching from the house..

As Maya started to cross the road she looked and a car was far enough for her to walk to the other side.. she dropped her phone on the ground Maya went to pick it up

"MAYA LOOK OUT!" Riley screamed from the other side of the road

Maya turned to the car that was so close to her and Froze, The car slammed it's brakes but was too close to maya

Her eyes widened as it knocked her of ther feet she rolled over the car Cracking the front window then down the back she fell down to the ground and hit her head

As she was rolling over she Screamed then fell silently on the floor

"MAYA" Riley ran over to her Best friend on the floor covered by shattered glass

"OMG Cory Call an ambulance!" Topanga yelled from the living room

"What why!" Cory came running in and followed Topanga out of the door

Topanga didn't reply..

"Topanga! What Happened!" he asked in the elevator

"Did you call a amb-"

"Yes i did" he cuts her off the doors open and out on the road there is a steamy car and Maya lying on the Floor covered in glass

Cory's eyes widen as he and Topanga run to Maya and Riley

"Maya can you hear me" Cory pulls Maya's head up off the ground and puts his jacket under her so she doesn't get any more injuries from the glass at her head

*The ambulance comes*

"Get her on the stretcher" a Medic yelled

"She needs air" another yelled as they all worked around maya

"Riley honey she will be ok" her father pulls her into a hug and put his arm around Topanga's waist

"We need to go!" Riley yelled walking back to the apartment

"Auggie baby" Topanga called for her son "Go to Ava's okay we will be back soon" She said as he walked into the living room

Auggie smiled and ran to Ava who lived just down the hall from Auggie.
