I could feel him starring at me as he waited patiently for my reply.

    "I suppose." I replied back.

I walked over to the cabinets and gathered the ingredients to make them.

His eyes were closed and I took this as my chance to study him.

He did not look as she looked.

He did not speak how she spoke.

But yet my mind went to her when I looked at him.

In a way he resembles her but on the other hand he does not.

I have yet to tell anyone she will be staying with me.

And that he is her son.

My wolf was reeling at the satisfaction that she was here.

I on the other hand, did not know how to feel.

    I was pleased yet distraught.

     "You think a lot."

His words threw me off and I did not know how to reply to that.

"What do you mean?" I asked.

"Your thoughts, I can read them." he said.

I bit back the urge to growl at him.

"My thoughts are not for you to invade." I replied.

"My apologies, Alpha." he said as he bowed his head.

My mind wondered and thought back to the way he spoke in Nathaniel's office.

He spoke maturely. I could tell he was well mannered.

I grabbed the pan from the bottom cabinet and put it on the stove.

I switched the fire on and waited for the pan to heat up.

"I think we should make some for mommy." I turned to him and contemplated his suggestions.

"It is late. By the time we finish the sun would have yet to rise."

"I guess your right." I looked at him and my mind wondered to how he was brought up.

He was looking down but he answered my unanswered questions.

"If you would like to ask me something you can." he said as he looked up smiling.

He put his up in a surrendering motion and smiled.

"I can feel your confusion." he said and I nodded my head at him.

"Do you understand how you came to be?" I asked.

    "Yes." he replied.

"And your half witch?" I asked

       Again he replied.

"Yes." he said with a sad smile.

I nodded my head and looked towards the pan.

I grabbed the ingredients and mixed them in a bowl and stirred it together.

Minutes went by in silence as we both stood there, waiting for the pancakes to be done.

"Do you like being Alpha?" he asked.

     Without hesitation I answered.

       "Yes."
