I only shrugged and glanced at Jade. Sabi ni Dad, magiging Content Creator muna ako under this department for a month or who knows, for weeks... Pinapamonitor pa kasi ang performance ko kay Kuya Louis. If I succeed, then I'll be promoted to a much higher position.

"Mr. Tristan Kurt Lee is the team leader of Marketing Department. Sila naman ang managing editors and...." Hindi ko na pinansin yung mga sinabi ni Kuya dahil yumuko na ako. Bigla akong nakaramdam ng nerbyos. Pangalan pa lang niya, pero ba't nagkakaganito na ako? "Hindi dahil anak siya ng Director ay bibigyan niyo siya ng special treatment. Be nice to her... And Crystal, be nice to them. Thanks," and that's when he dazed off from our sight. Silence occupied the four corners of the workplace. Nakatingin lang sila sa akin, at binibigyan ako ng welcoming smile na nginitian ko rin in return.

"Miss Gail..." Hinila-hila ni Jade ang wrist ko kaya tinignan ko siya. "Si Sir Kurt oh..."

I followed the direction she's pointing and there I saw Kurt, busy typing on his desktop. Nakapwesto siya sa pinakasulok, sa likod ng floor to ceiling window. I just stared at him for a moment and examined his looks. For the past 4 years, I must say that he positively changed a lot. Naging mature-looking na siya yet he looks extremely better now. Kung hindi ko lang siya kilala, siguro hindi ko maiisip na gangster siya noon. Ano kayang nangyari sa kanya sa nakalipas na apat na taon?

Lunchtime. Wala akong masyadong ginawa kanina sa office, pero nagutom talaga ako. Actually, maraming naiwang paperworks ang former content creator. F*ck those 15 thick folders! First day ko pa lang pero bakit tambak na?

"Miss Gail, mababa daw yung sales last month ayon dito sa sales report at isinisisi yun sa marketing strategy ng department niyo," sabi ni Jade habang binabasa ang laman ng folder. "Grabe, ang laki ng ibinaba compared nung June and July!"

I rolled my eyes. How I hate numbers. "Drop it off, Jade. Mamaya nalang yan. We're in the middle of pigging out. Duh?"

Ibinaba ni Jade ang folder sa mesa at tinignan ako habang nakanguso pa. "Maiba tayo, Miss Gail."

"Hmm?"

She sipped on her fruit juice first before speaking to me. "Narinig ko kanina habang nasa powder room ako na masungit daw si Sir Kurt."

My brow twitched upwards. Nothing's new. Kurt's like that eversince not until he lost his memory. 

"Tapos terror pala yun! Konting mistakes lang, nagagalit na agad. Napakaseryoso raw sa trabaho..." Then she paused and leaned closer to me as though she's going to whisper something. "Na-turn off nga raw sila dun eh. Gwapo nga raw, yun nga lang, napakasuplado."

"Why... are you telling these to me?" Mataray na tanong ko. Jade can sometimes be a good paparrazzi. Maraming alam na chismis eh.

"Wala naman po. Hehe! Napansin ko kasing panay ang sulyap mo sa kanya kanina, Miss Gail. Gwapo no'?"

I'm done with this. I got up and collected my stuffs. Nawalan na ako ng gana. Walang ibig-sabihin ang mga sulyap ko kay Kurt kanina. I was just conscious with his presence.

"Miss Gail, tapos na po kayo?"

"Yeah, let's go."

Jade kept on telling me some random stuff about the company kaya mas lalo akong nawawala sa mood. We were about to step out of the resto when some b-astard bumped into me and accidentally spilled his cold coffee on my freak-ing dress.

"Sh*t." I heard him mumble. At siya pa ang may ganang magmura?

I breathied deeply and pulled myself together before looking up at him. "LOOK WHAT YOU'VE DONE----" Napahinto ako nang marealize ko kung sino ang nasa harapan ko. My tongue automatically twisted upon seeing his arrogant stare at me. "K...Kurt?"
