Chapter 10: Date

   "Its a small world daddy ." I replied,  rolling my eyes.

He laughed then gave Aaron a stern look . "Now you mister have her home before 8."

   I felt Aaron go ramrod straight "Yes Alpha."

   Dad burst out laughing "You kids have a good time."

He gave me a quick hug and Aaron a handshake before leaving.

We watched him leave before Aaron relaxed.

"I'm glad your father approves" He said.

"Me too" I said back. I was eager to get out of the house.

    "So Aaron where are you taking Ashley?" Raven asked , excited as if she was the one going on the date.

   "That's a surprise." He smirked with a wink.

"Awww no fair." She pouted "Well you two kids have fun. C'mon  Damian let's leave these love birds alone ."

   I watched as Raven linked her arm with Damian's, and I ignored the pang of jealousy that ran through me.

I was about to go on a date with a gentleman and here I'm getting jealous over a stupid jerk.

Damian's golden eyes met mine briefly , all emotion gone.

  "You two have fun." He said, a small tick barely noticeable in his jaw "But not too much fun. "

Aaron laughed at him before Raven and Damian disappeared into the game room.

  "Shall we?" Aaron opened the door.

"We shall ." I smiled as he led me to his car, a sleek black Corvette. "Nice ride."

"Thanks, I got it for my 17th birthday." Aaron grinned proudly .

    I cleared my mind of Damian and my  mixed emotions, as Aaron started driving.

    Tonight I would try to enjoy myself and forget about how chaotic my life seemed lately.

I looked at Aarons side view and smiled.

He really was good looking with his blonde hair that seemed to fit perfectly with his tan skin and bright blue eyes.

   I would enjoy myself tonight and forget everything .

As it turned out I did have fun.

  First we went to a drive in to watch a movie, a comedy that had us laughing all night.

It had been forever since I could just watch a movie with a guy without him trying something .

   The whole time Aaron was a total gentleman, asking if I wanted any refreshments or snacks.

   Soon after my stomach was growling loudly.

   "Sorry." I turned away embarrassed.

Gawd I can't believe how loud that was !

I felt his soft fingers on my chin as he made me face him.

   "Don't be embarrassed . If your hungry I have the perfect place. But first you have to put these on." He smirked as he dangled a bright red scarf from his hand.

I looked at it suspiciously.

"Are you going to kidnap me ?" I tried saying it with a serious face but I broke out in giggles.
