Inferno's POV

"Oh...my lord," I pant, catching my breath. I'd just beaten five trainers in a row using only my Charmander.

It felt good to accomplish something so challenging using the bare minimum.

"Char!" Blaze cheered. I smiled at my partner, returning him to his Pokéball.

Up ahead were a few more trainers along with a house. I decided to check it out.

After beating the few trainers who blocked the path, Blaze began to glow. "Uhh," I mumbled, confused.

There was a huge flash of white light and when it cleared, Blaze was an entirely different Pokémon.

Suddenly, I remembered the same thing had happened to Atlas' Caterpie before it turned into a Kakuna.

Of course, I thought. "Blaze, you evolved!" I exclaim, joyfully. I pulled out my Pokédex and held it up to my newly evolved partner.

"Charmeleon, the flame Pokémon," it began. "When it swings it's burning tail, it elevates the temperature to unbearably high levels."

"Sweet," I grin. We walk towards the house, which I was curious about. I knock on the door, but receive no answer.

I walk inside and see a Pokémon on the floor attempting to use some kind of machine.

Before I could get my Pokédex, the Pokémon starts talking - to me.

"Hey, mind giving me a hand?" It asks. "What?!" I exclaim, jumping back.

"Confused? Please, just click that button," It assured, pointing at the table.

I remember seeing a Pokémon like the one here in Mt.Moon. Oh yeah, it's a Clefairy, I remember.

I click a red button on the nearby table, not thinking twice and the Pokémon becomes a person.

"Uhm, what?" I mutter astonished. "I'm Bill," the man says. "What just-," I start. "Ah, yes," Bill interupts.

"That was my invention. You see, I'm a scientist attempting to make a machine to make people into Pokémon."

After two sentances, I stop listening and stare at a lamp. "How much does it cost?" I ask. "Oh, it's not for sale," Bill answers.

"No, the lamp," I repeat. "Also not for sale, this isn't a garage sale," Bill shrugs. "Yeah, it's a house, not a garage," I smirk, annoying him.

"Well, I'm gonna go, cya," I shrug. With that, I left and head off towards the gym.

...

I arrived in the gym and stood in front of Misty, the Cerulean City Gym Leader.

"Go, Staryu!" Misty shouted, flinging her Pokéball. "Come on out, Blaze!" I exclaim.

Wasting no time at all, I had Blaze use dragon rage. Staryu took damage, but not enough. "Use water pulse!" Misty called.

"Dodge it, then use scratch!" I shout. Charmeleon could only win if he dodged every attack, so I had to be careful.

"Staryu, use rapid spin!" Misty called. That's not good, I shook.

"Jump on top of Staryu and use scratch, now!" I demanded. Charmeleon nodded towards me and ran towards Staryu.
