I scroll through the Pinterest board, eyes widening at some of the swimsuits and outfits she had chosen for me.

"Today we are shopping for things like that!" Lana screamed excitedly. Jessica smirked and took my phone, passing it to everyone else so they could see Lana's vision of how I was going to look for the two weeks I was in Hawaii.

"You're going to look hot as hell!!" yelled Becky.

"I know she is", Lana sighed dramatically, "all the guys will be falling at her feet,"

"I don't know," I said meekly. "Are you sure I have the body for this?"

"Girl of course you do! All ou do is wear those god offal sweatshirts and I have seen what lies under them in the change room.here is no need to hide your body. You are a model goddess babe." Jessica reassured me and all the girls nodded, agreeing under their breaths.

Maybe I do need a change, maybe I could break out of my shell. It's not like anyone I know is going to be there, right? After taking back my phone, Lana tells me she is going to be picking me and Jessica up after school to go to the mall. I need to start shopping for my trip because its exam time coming up and I will have no time then. This is the only time we can really go to the mall before the pressure is on. I will be graduating next year and these are the grades, universities will start looking at. We walk up the stairs to math class with Jessica lecturing me on taking lots of pictures and calling her when I'm away. She explains how she will murder me if I don't tell her every minute of what's happening so she can "live vicariously through me". The conversation then transitions to the trip we are planning next year for our last high school hurrah as a big friend group. The people who want to go are asking their parents for money for their birthday next year, graduation present, and any other holiday we get presents for so we can all save up and go.

We haven't decided where we are going to go yet, though that really depends on how much money we are able to scrape up. Jessica and I slide into our usual seats still talking now talking about the grad trip, how we need to book a room together, only us. The door opens and Jason walks in with his 3 friends. They sit in their usual seats which is one row away from ours, and I couldn't help but look at him. My one and only crush, oh god I am in deep. I rest my face on my hand and lean into it with a sigh. The teacher walked in and I pull out my phone. Jessica and I do really good in this class so we always half pay attention to what the teacher is saying, half read our books on our phones under the table. We aren't very good at being rebels and hiding our phones, though because of our good grades and the rest of the classes bad ones, our teacher doesn't say anything to us.

As I smile at my book I look up to the smartboard taking in the new concept for a second and going back to my phone. Although I don't pay attention, much to what you may think, I actually don't find math easy at all. I just get good grades because I try outside of school. I go to math tutoring once a week, I do most of the homework, and study really hard. I just find in-class lessons really hard to focus on. The teacher ends the lesson, turns on the lights and hand out our homework and a worksheet due on Monday. Jessica and I don't do it, talking about how we are saving them for the weekend when we are starting our study notes for our exams. We usually facetime each other when doing worksheets like this and after we are done we talk for hours.

Jessica pivoted towards me in her chair placing her phone on the desk.

"So are you excited for you makeover tonight?" she asks, I just weakly smiled in response. "Hey," she yells, smacking me "don't be like that!" I laughed at the absurdness of her actions and caught Jason's eye, but quickly looked away as my face turns as red as a tomato. I feel a familiar buzz in my pocket and pull out my phone to see a notification for Instagram. It was a new comment on the photo Jessica posted on her main account for my birthday. She had posted a photo she took of me when we were on a walk one day, just the two of us. It was my favorite photo of us and had it framed in my room.

Our faces were together and we were both smiling real smiles after she had made me laugh so hard I cried. On her post when you flipped to the next photo there was a collage of photos of me and her, some ugly photos and others good, then to perfect the post, if you scrolled one more time there was a video of me spinning in my room dancing to my favorite song. I never knew she took that video but I didn't mind, it's what best friends do. I looked through the comments, all posted yesterday for my birthday and scrolled to the bottom to the new comment. It was from Jase_Eaton. I do a double take re-reading the user name. Jason, my Jason commented on Jessica's birthday post for me.

"Happy Birthday Sara!!!" I read the comment over and over again. I spare a quick glance at him and shockingly he is looking at me. He smirks and goes back to his phone. I think my heart just melted. I quickly tap Jessica and show my phone scan with the comment section to the post open, pointing at Jason's comment. She looks at me shocked and then silently screams. She pulls out her phone and texts me.

She pulls out her phone and texts me
