Chessa - Why does it have to be like this

Jake:

"Chance is... awake" said the doctor. "he has some minor brain issues and a broken leg, but other than that he's fine."

"Can we see him?" asked Anthony.

"Yes, you may." the doctor smiled.

We rushed in to see Chance, and he was sitting upright on his bed, looking  a little dazed.

"Chance, you're ok" I laughed.

He smiled.

"When can he leave?" I asked the doctor.

"As soon as he likes" he replied.

We helped Chance into the car, and made our way home. He had medicine that he needed to take everyday, and we were supposed to watch out for him.

Tessa:

I heard Chance was put into hospital, and I was freaking out. I couldn't lose him. Jake, Anthony and Chance finally got home, and I raced up beside him.

I hugged him and asked, "Are you ok?"

"I'm fine now Tessa" he smiled.

"I was so worried" I said as I kissed him on the cheek. 

"You can stop worrying now" he laughed.

I am so glad he's ok. I don't know what I would've done if he wasn't. 

I'm sorry guys I left you on a cliffhanger, but it was like 10 o clock and I was so tired I couldn't write another chapter. Also, sorry it's short this morning, I have to go to school soon.
