zach's pov
today was my girlfriend and i's one year anniversary and i couldn't be happier.
i'll never forget that night at kat's party when i first laid eyes on her.
flashback
"bro come on get off me!" i chuckled as i threw my best friend, justin foley, off of me.
we were messing around on kat's lawn in the sprinklers.
"meet the boys, justin foley for me, and zach dempsey for you."
my head shot up at the sound of my name.
it was kat, she was with another girl, and clay jensen.
"really? zach dempsey for her?" clay asked.
"okay he is a little dumb, but he's the sweet kind of dumb, and thats the best kind." kat defended.
"hey guys, i'm right here." i waved in annoyance.
"i know, i have eyes." kat shot me a look.
"come on man lets go. we're soaking wet." justin motioned to our clothes.
i turned to walk away and collided with someone.
whoever it was fell to the ground.
"oh my gosh, i'm so sorry! are you okay?" i kneeled in front of them.
they moved their long hair out of their face and looked up at me.
she was the most beautiful girl i had ever seen in my life.
"i'm fine, i should probably watch where i'm going next time." her voice was even cuter.
i helped her up, trying to figure out what to say.
"i'm zach." i said nervously.
"i'm chelsea." she smiled.
"would you like to go out sometime?" i shocked myself with my question.
"sure, i would love to." her answer shocking me even more.
