Prom

Piper: Aubrey, can I rant to you for a second?

Me: yeah sure, what's wrong?

Piper: My dad is yelling at me for something I didn't even do. I kindly asked my sister not to wear my favorite dress (that I had just bought) and she decided to wear it anyways. Then she goes to my dad and tells him that I yelled at her and now I'm grounded... ahhhg what the hell.

Me: what the heck.. that's awful!

Piper: I know! And now I can't go to prom this year because I "yelled" at my sister for wearing MY prom dress.
I didn't even yell at her!! I just kindly asked her not to wear it..

Me: No way, he's not letting you come to prom?! But we were supposed to go together and double date with our guys.

Piper: I can't.. IM SO PISSED! I have tried reasoning with him and my mom but they still think I am some evil child.

Me: piperrrrrr! Aaahhh 😩😩😩 I really wanted to go with you guys this year.

Piper: I mean, there's always next year I guess.

Me: I guess..

Me: maybe I can FaceTime you while I'm at prom??

Piper: I'm technically not even allowed to have my phone... so.

Me: damnit piper. I guess we will just text.

Piper: I guess so. Text me tomorrow when you're getting ready. Maybe I can still try to be excited for y'all.

Me: okay

Me: I'm so excited!! Do you think that Michael will kiss me? He hasn't kissed me yet. Maybe he's saving it for tonight. Ahhh!

Piper: a little birdie told me he was thinking about it. ;)

Me: PIPER! nO wAy?!

Piper: ahh we will see later today!

Me: I'm so sad you're not coming. We are taking pictures in 45 mins. I hope he shows up on time!

Piper: He will! Don't worry!

Me: okayyy! So, I'll send lots of pictures. He got here like 10 mins ago. We are on our way to take pictures.

Me: off to prom!

Piper: have fun
