"Are you sure?" Carl asks.

"Yes, now lets go," I say as we walk out of the gates of Alexandria.

"I'd rather go to the kingdom," I say once we step outside the gates.

"No," Carl growls.

I know exactly why he doesn't want to go there.

"Why? Ya afraid Ben's gonna take me away from you?" I laugh.

"Y/N, don't joke about that shit," Carl says annoyingly.

"You are," I laugh.

Carl stopped walking and stared at me.

"What?" I laugh.

"Why do you joke about this shit?" He asks.

"Because I joke about a lot of shit, now come on," I say as I continue to walk.

"Ok, we'll go to the kingdom. Might meet some new chicks," Carl smirks as he walks ahead.

My smile quickly dropped to a frown.

"I think not," I say running a bit to catch up with him.

"Why not? You hit on Ben," Carl says.

"No I don't," I growl.

Carl stopped and turned to face me.

"Oh my god Ben! Carl was being an asshole so I'm gonna come running to you," Carl says in a girly voice.

"Ok, first of all I don't sound like that and second I don't do that," I say, annoyed at him.

He just laughed and shrugged.

"Well, fuck you too," I murmur.

"Ya kinda do sound like that," Carl says.

"You just wanna do anything to piss me off don't you?" I ask.

"No. I'm just playing," He laughs.

"You can't play with my emotions. Not after a tragic incident," I roll my eyes before walking ahead of him.

"Why have you changed?" He asks from behind me causing me to come to a stop.

"I haven't. You have," I say still with my back facing him.

"I've changed because you changed me. You on the other hand have changed. Why?" He says.

"I haven't," I say before continuing to walk.

"Yes you have," He continues to push on.

"How have I changed?" I ask spinning around to face him.

"You just have. You're not the same. I don't know who you are anymore," Carl says with a frown.
