8 : Bestfriend

The talk of the school is about the upcoming fieldtrip the next day.

Naglalakad palang kami papunta ng building ng makita namin sina Blue

" Yow Captain" I heard Blue say. We just both smiled at Blue na halata mong may ibang tinitingnan. I gazed at who he was looking at. I wasn't shock anymore to him looking at Makky na halata mong may kausap na isang lalaking studyante. The guy is obviously flirting with Makky.

Tinanguan lamang siya ni Luis ng mapatingin silang pareho kay Makky.

" I'll have to get my girl" Saad ni Blue bago umalis

" Bakit 'yun" Tanong ko kay Luis pagkaalis ni Blue. Saglit kaming tumigil. Iginaya naman niya ang aking paningin kay Makky na ngayon ay nakakulong na sa bisig ni Blue.

I looked at Luis. He just smirked at me

" I can do more than that, Reyna ko" He said

" Asus" I just said.

" If I would see you doing that. I swear I might subject myself to a fight" He said.

" Tssk, baliw na talaga" I whispered to myself

Hinatid na ako ni Luis sa klase ko. It didn't shock me anymore when I saw him smirking at me while we were both walking.

Seriously, kanina pa kami. I don't even know what we honestly wanted to do. He just keeps on bugging me with those creepy looks I don't even understand that much.

" I'm going to surprise Lorrain later, Reyna ko" He whispered

Surprise?

" Then surprise her Luis. I'm not her mother for you to ask my permission to" I frankly told him.

" I need your help" He honestly said.

" Ano na naman iyang plano mo Valdemar" I asked him. He just smiled at me

" I wanted to date her, Reyna ko but I don't know how I would please a woman you know. I'm not into romance but guess what, I think I need to have some sweet bones sometimes" I practically stared at him for sometime.

Matagal ko ng alam, it's game over. I lose the game, but a part of me still wish, I still have a chance. And seeing him happy now, I don't have the courage to take it away from him anymore. I know he's happier with her.

After all, I'm just the bestfriend. Lorrain qis the girlfriend.

" You want to have a date with her" I confirmed, he nodded

" Absolutely" He said with a smile.

I closed my eyes. Am I really gonna do this.

" Please, Reyna ko" He pleaded.

It damn hurts

" Sige na nga" I hissed. He smiled.

" Huwag mo 'kong ngitian jan Valdemar" I told him.

Hinatid niya na ako ng tuluyan sa klase ko. I thought maeextend na naman but atlast, hinatid niya na ako.

" Sige na Valdemar, baka maleyt ka pa sa klase mo" I told him.

I was about to enter my class when he suddenly grabbed me by my waist pulling me closer to him. It was like a flash of a moment. And I can clearly hear his heavy breathing. Nagtaka ako sa biglaang pagseryoso ng mukha niya.

" I won't be able to fetch you up later, Reyna ko. I'll be in court, practice for the upcoming next game" He explained.

" It's okay. It's not your duty to fetch me after school and besides, uwi na rin ako ng maaga mamaya. I'll be processing some papers" Hindi ako nagsinungaling ng sabihin ko sa kanya yun. It was true, I am really going to do something.

" Come watch me play, Reyna ko. You know I don't like your seat vacant" He said.

" I promise, I'll watch you play during the real game Valdemar. You can still have your practice without me" I told him. Kung makapagdemand lang kasi 'tong Valdemar na 'to.

" Watch me play Reyna ko." He insisted

" No I won't, I'm going home" I insisted too

He bowed down his head. Senyales na nagtatampo na siya. An authentic Valdemar style I guess.

" You don't use that childish thing to me again Valdemar" He does that thing when he thinks he's in a hopeless case. Kung talagang hindi na niya ako makukuha sa mga salita niya.

" Please Reyna ko" He used his most alluring voice.

" Kailan ka tatanda Valdemar" I blurted out

He finally gazed at me with his signature look.

" You mean, growing old?" He faked a curious question

" Come on Valdemar" I told him.

" Well I would still choose to grow old with you" He said. That wasn't even an answer to my question.

" If that's what you say Valdemar" I told him

" Sige na Valdemar." I urged him to go. Kanina pa kase nandito.

" Ayokong umalis hangga't hindi ka pumapayag na panoorin ako sa practice ko Reyna ko" He demanded.

" Valdemar" I warned him. But he just stood infront of me cross arms.

" Well, kung ayaw mong umalis, ako na ang aalis" I made my way inside the classroom when he suddenly pulled me back to where I was originally standing.

" Please, Reyna ko" He said once more.

I breathed in.

" Okay. No need to do your dramas Valdemar" He smiled at my answer.

" And you stop that smile Valdemar" I told him

" Hindi mo rin ako natiis Reyna ko" He said it with so much superiority

I gave him a fake laugh.

" You should go Valdemar. In case you don't see, you're late" I almost want to push him just for him to go

" I don't care. In case you don't know too" He answered.

" Well I care. Hindi ko gustong naleleyt ka sa klase mo Valdemar. And you listen to your instructors. Hindi porket gwapo ka, papasa ka na. Hindi ka ipapasa niyang kagwapuhan mo" That is exactly what I always say to him.

" I know I'm handsome Reyna ko." And that is always the same answer I get to hear from him.

" Go now, Luis" I told him once more.

" I will Reyna ko. And I won't be in the practice court if you wouldn't watch me play." He said with a smile but he said it like it was a freakin' threat.

" You will, Valdemar" I said

" I won't, believe me. And I might be heading straight to your house in case you wouldn't, Reyna ko" He said it with finality.
