Chapter 6: Training and Talking to Dean

Jade P.O.V

A few Hours Later

I was in front of Bobby's house and I started to feel nervous. Dean banged on the door three times, we waited for a few seconds and the door opened revealing an old man wearing cheap clothes and a cap. He immediately greeted the brothers with a hug and glanced at me.

"So that's her huh?" He asked

"Yea" Sam answered

"Okay" He shrugged

"Come on Weirdy, let's get this test started" Dean said

Without saying another word I followed him outside. There were a lot of old cars that really looked like they needed to be fixed. We stopped walking to a place where there was no car around us.

"Alright first thing first. Sam told me earlier that you took 12 years of Self Defense Class so let me see how you protect yourself" Dean affirmed

Without giving me a chance to reply, he quickly lifted up his right hand to give me a punch in the face but thanks to my reflexes I blocked him.

"Are you kidding me? You know next time you want to punch me in the face, you can at least warn me" I exclaimed

"Hey you wanted to do this and I told you that it would be under my conditions, this is one of them besides if a monster wants to punch you newsflash it will not warn you" He responded

I took a deep breath to calm myself.

"Okay let's go for another round of you just trying to protect yourself from my attacks alright?" He said

"Yea okay" I replied

From the corner of my right eye, I saw Sam and Bobby looking over Dean and I. Guess we will have an audience I thought. He started to give me another punch in the face but I blocked him like I did a few minutes ago, he kept attacking me and I kept blocking him, we did that for 4 minutes or so.

"That's great, guess your 12 years of Self Defense wasn't a waste after all but now let's see how you are doing when you are the one that has to attack someone"

The fight began, it all happened really fast but long story short I have beaten Dean and he was lying on the ground groaning. While he stood up I asked him "So was that great?"

"Yea" He replied

"And did I pass the test?" I smiled innocently

"Not yet, you still got to prove yourself for one thing but I have to prepare something so you can go rest or whatever" He responded

Alright, I thought. I made my way towards Sam and Bobby.

"Congratulations you have just beaten Dean and trust me it is not that easy to do" Sam smiled

"Thanks" I muttered

He looked over at Dean and went towards him, leaving me alone with Bobby.

"So how long have you known the Winchesters?" Bobby asked

"I don't really know Dean, we just met like 2 days ago but I know Sam for 3 years now"

"And you thought this through? Going with them, Hunting" He questioned

"Honestly not really; but I know deep down that it's the right call and if I don't do it then I will regret it all my life. I don't know there is something that is pushing me to go hunt with the Winchesters" I admitted
