CHAPTER 12

KIRSTEN'S POV:

I was alone in a tower, no—I am not alone, I am with the Prince. But why can't I see his face? It's all blurry. My hand was holding his, I was pulling him up as he was about to fall. "Let me go Princess!" He said. "No! I won't let you go! Just hang on!" As I try all my might to pull him up. "Let go of me, save you self!" He shrieked. "No, I will save you! Just please, don't let go of my hand!" I am crying. I was this close in meeting him so I couldn't let him go. "Let go of my hand Princess..."

I woke up crying. It was just a dream, a bad dream. Why am I having these kinds of dream lately? I let out a deep sigh. Nagsimula ang mga ganitong panaginip ko nung naging kami ni Edward. Di kaya, may connection yung mga panaginip ko sa kanya? I shook my head. Nag-ooverthink na naman ako. I looked at my watch; it's already 5:00AM. I get out of my bed and went straight to the bathroom to bathe. I did a quick shower since Edward will be fetching me at 6:00AM and knowing him, he hates waiting! Sabay daw kami magbreakfast kaya maaga nya ko susunduin. After fixing my self, I went downstairs and there he is, sitting comfortably on the couch. Seriously, is he always on time?

"Did I keep you wait?" I asked when I got near him.

"Nah, you're just on time." He answered as he checked his watch. "Let's go!" He held my hand and intertwined it.

We bid goodbye to Kuya Robert and Ate Mel then he opens the door for me. After we settled in the car, he lets me play my playlist on his car stereo. So, as usual I played my favorite songs and sing my heart out. I noticed Edward laugh at me everytime I am getting out of tune but didn't say a word. I guess, he was used to hearing my voice. Ha-ha!

After 20 minutes, we arrived at the Unknown Cuisine. We were greeted by the staffs as we entered the restaurant. They escorted us to our table and our food is already there. Super dami!

"Wow, ang daming food! Kaya ba natin ubusin 'to?" Amazed na sabi ko.

"Just eat what your stomach can tolerate, okay?" He ordered.

"Aye, aye captain!" I jokily answered.

"Ts." He just smirked.

We started to gobble up the scrumptious meal laid in front of us. When he was busy with his food, I secretly watch him eat, he eats with poise. He was not like the other guys I've known that doesn't care about how they eat. Pero sya, makikita mong anak mayaman talaga. I've watched him last night and the postures never change. The way he hold the utensils and how he chew the food, it's very aristocratic. Kaya siguro madami rin ilag sa kanya kasi feeling mo talaga manliliit ka kapag kasama mo sya. Pero in all fairness to him naman, everytime kasama nya ko, never nyang pinaramdam sa akin na left out ako. In fact, lagi nya akong pinapakilalang girlfriend sa lahat ng makakasalubong or na-me-meet nya.

"Hey, you're daydreaming of me again. Kaharap mo na nga ako." He teased which snapped me out of my thoughts. Then he let out a subtly laugh.

"Tse! Ang kapal mo ah!" I sound so defensive. Shocks! Nakakahiya.

"I know what you're thinking." He winked.

"What, sige nga?!" I mocked.

"Hmmn, mukha ko palang ulam na? Ha-ha!" Natawa sya sa sariling joke nya. Corny!

"Ang corny mo! Hindi kaya!" Pag-dedeny ko.

"Eh bakit kanin lang kinakain mo?" He scorned. I immediately look at my plate and my eyes widened when I realized na kanin nalang pala yung nasa plate ko. I heard him chortled. I can feel my cheeks burning in humiliation. Oh my gosh! Super nakakahiya! Tinignan ko sya ng masama para itago ang kahihiyan ko pero sa halip na tumigil sya, mas lalo pang lumakas yung tawa nya. Napatingin tuloy sa amin yung mga staffs nya. "Sorry babe, pero di ko talaga maiwasang matawa! Ha-ha!" Sige, tawa pa! Kabagin ka talaga sana! Nasapo na nya yung tiyan nya sa kakatawa. Hala! Grabe sya! I stood up and covered his mouth para tumigil na sya kasi talagang nakahiya na.
