As I come across the bridge I am to cross, a warrior stands in my way.

"Tell me a statement. If I think it's true; I will cut out your heart, if I think it's false; I will cut off your head, and if you leave me stumped; you may pass. But beware the dangers that yet to come, as I am far safer than the rest."

I think long and hard before I finally come up with something.

"You will cut off my head." I tell the warrior.

He goes to move but falters as he knows that with me saying he will cut off my head is a false statement which makes it that he has to cut off my head, but then stops because the statement then becomes true and when it is true, he is to cut out my heart but then the statement would become false.

There is no way he could do either to me so he gave up thinking and finally said, "you may pass. But don't say I didn't warn you."
