People often trusted on the first impressions and made wrong conclusions based on those. In the worst cases, they didn't try to get to know them better and would lose a great person from their lives without even knowing it.

Chris and Bree did that. In high school, they shared a mutual hatred ever since the first week. It all started when he flirted with her, assuming that she was just like every girl he had met. He was wrong. In fact, she got mad at his arrogant attitude and wasn't afraid to tell him so.

After that day, those two were the enemies who always got into fights even for the little things and not once they apologized but they didn't care. It was the game between the two of them: whoever stopped first, lost.

In high school, Chris was the one that could be described as a manwhore. He was one of those teenage boys who slept with different girls every night without even knowing their names the next morning. He never cared about what he said or who he hurt each day. Normally he didn't even know them or have any evidence of his accusations.

He was one of those boys who broke rules without fearing the consequences, a free spirit who did what he wanted whenever he wanted. He didn't trust people but it didn't stop him from having a lot of friends who followed him like lost puppies. Still, he loved annoying them, especially one girl who was the only one to ever get back to him.

Bree wasn't exactly a good girl either. She was a prankster who messed up even with the teachers. She wasn't one of the popular students, even though her beauty could make anyone mistaken her for them, but she wasn't a loner either. She was the confident girl who always got the answer to everything and wasn't too shy to show it.

She often got into fights with her parents who demanded a lot from her which was the reason they hardly even talked. Still, she did nothing but smiled and laughed at the school where even the worst kind of people annoyed her. Especially one boy awoke her feisty side that was full of pranks and bad nicknames.

No one was surprised when it came to their daily fights and even the principal seemed to have given up on them. At first, he had tried to make them bear to each other's presence but it didn't last even for an hour. It seemed to be impossible for the two of them to get along when they had so similar feisty attitude and words in the sleeve.

Until one day she didn't come to school at all. The reason stayed as a mystery to everyone because no one heard from her that day, not even her closest friends. In fact, she didn't come to school at all that month or the rest of the year. And just like everyone else, he was forced to continue his senior year without her.
