Chapter13. Najaliesse Ray

  " I will need 52 boxes in bundles of Remy hair in different colors for the customers to decide what they want in their hair, bottles of argan and moroccan oil and setting lotions for the customers can use and take home to use as well" said Najaliesse while talking to the man on the phone that was taking the order of the hair products that Najaliesse was asking for to sale in her hair salon. " I also will need tubs of perms along with bottles of shampoos and leave-in conditioners as well if you don't mind shipping them over thank you " said Najaliesse while confirming her order for one of her hair salons that she owned in United States. After Najaliesse got off the phone she went back to doing client's hair. After she did the client's hair she went to check on the e-mails and invoices that she was getting about the upcoming hair show that she was planning       to show off her latest hair styles. While checking her emails, she got a phone call from the people in Miami about the location where she was going to have her annual hair show that always show off her styles and designs

"Hello Najaliesse, this is Matt from the location in Miami and I'm calling you to give you an update about the progress of the location for your hair show" said Matt

" Hey, how are you ? how's everything looking ?" said Najaliesse

"Everything is looking amazing including the stations for you and your stylists" said Matt

" Perfect. Um anything else that is needed to be done ?" said Najaliesse

"Not at all" said Matt

"Ok thank you for the update" said Najaliesse

"No problem see you in Miami" said Matt

"See you then" said Najaliesse

After Najaliesse hung up the phone she turned her focus onto her emails until she stumbled on an email from her ex-fiance Derwin who left her for a stripper who had a son that wasn't his sent her an email after 8 ½ years of them not talking saying:

"Dear Najaliesse,

I know it's been 8 ½ years since I last saw your eyes filled with tears while the mascara was running down your face and for that I apologize because you never done anything wrong to me and now I regret everyday whenever I see your picture on the billboards driving to work everyday, see your commercials on the television when I'm watching tv, like all your pics on Instagram, retweet all of your tweets on Twitter, see all your stories on Snapchat and like all of your posts and pics on Facebook. Najaliesse, these 8 ½ years have been hell ever since you left and I don't know if I can take it another day, month or year without seeing your face. I'm writing this as a plea to see you face to face and to talk to you and say that I'm sorry that I hurt you and for the way it all ended. Her and I have ended when I found out that the baby boy she was carrying was not mine, my businesses beginning to fail and my life has hit rock bottom and I have no where else to turn to but you. I would love to see you if that's ok with you whenever you are free. Please write me back when you get this.

After Najaliesse read his e-mail, she began to cry not because of what he was going through but the fact that he owned up to his actions and he was man enough to say that he was sorry for his pain that he caused and the tears he gave her while walking away with the other woman in front of her face and giving her a baby knowing that she always wanted kids. Najaliesse pondered on the thought of writing him back because she didn't want to reopen old wounds that took her a long time to heal from but then again she wanted to see him to get closure so she can move on. Najaliesse was born in Honolulu, Hawaii but raised in Bronx, New York. Najaliesse's mother, Bianca was black and her father Nanu was Hawaiian and Samoan. Bianca was child of a military soldier who was her father and her mother who was nurse. Her parents Natalie and Roger lived in Tampa, Florida due to his tour of duty in the army. Natalie worked as a nurse while Roger was on his first tour of duty in Hawaii. After spending months and years over there, Roger came back to Tampa to see Natalie and to tell her that he found a home to live in and a better surrounding for them to live and to start a family for when they decided to have kids and he also got a ring to propose to her.

"Baby I'm home" said Roger while walking in the door dropping his bags by the door

"Roger is that you? " said Natalie while running from the kitchen

"Yes it's me" said Roger

" Thank God you're home" said Natalie while jumping into his arms

" It feels good to be home and coming home to you" said Roger

" I am so glad that you're home baby, I was worried about you" said Natalie while kissing Roger

" I'm ok and you don't have to worry anymore now that I'm home" said Roger while putting his bags away upstairs into the bedroom

"So how was it ?" said Natalie

"It was rough but made it through. I found this house and it's quiet with a beautiful scenery with enough space for us to start a family" said Roger while sitting in the kitchen talking to Natalie while she was cooking his favorite meal as a welcome home dinner that was part of the romantic night that she planned for Roger as a homecoming gift.

" Really sounds great wait where did you see this fantasy dream home that you are talking about ?" said Natalie

"In Honolulu where I was stationed" said Roger

"As in Honolulu, Hawaii !?! Baby it's beautiful there" said Natalie

" Yes as in Honolulu, Hawaii baby, it's so beautiful and quiet there" said Roger

"Really !?!, do you have pictures of the house that you were telling me about and the area ?" said Natalie

"Yes I do and what are you making it smells good in here" said Roger while walking into the kitchen with the pictures of the house and area of Honolulu that he was describing and telling a lie about while he was on his tour of duty in Hawaii

" I'm making your favorite. Shrimp and herb pasta, lobster and broccoli with cheese with your favorite beer and for dessert, your favorite caramel drizzled, chocolate cheesecake" said Natalie while she kissed him

"Damn all that for me?" said Roger

" Yes" said Natalie

" Thank you baby. So what have you been up to since I've been away" said Roger

"Nothing but work and taking care of this house" said Natalie

"I really missed you so much while fighting out there" said Roger

"Really baby ?" said Natalie while turning the stove off

" Yes" said Roger

     Natalie was in the kitchen fixing his plate when Roger pulled out the engagement ring that he brought to propose to Natalie after dinner. Roger knew that he wanted to marry Natalie and give her the world and everything that she ever wanted that she dreamed of.

Natalie brought their plates into the next room so they have dinner together and spend time together and talk about their future. Roger and Natalie finished their dinner and talked about their future and their decision to move to Honolulu, Hawaii to have a better life. Natalie went into the kitchen to get some more wine to drink, when she walked back into the living room with a glass of wine she saw Roger on his one knee with the box open that carried a diamond engagement ring that he was going to propose to Natalie.

"OMG baby what's this ?" said Natalie

"Natalie, ever since I've met you my world has became better and brighter now that you're in it and I want you to be in it forever. Natalie Chantel Terell will you marry me ?" said Roger

"Yes" said Natalie with tears of joy in her eyes while he was placing the ring on her.

Next three years went by and Natalie got married and moved to Honolulu, Hawaii after Roger retired from the army after learning that Natalie was pregnant with Bianca and started working as a sergeant for the army base that was close to home because he wanted to be there for Natalie and help raise Bianca while Natalie worked in hospitals as a nurse to help provide and to take care of home. After Bianca turned 13, Natalie, Roger and Bianca moved to Tampa, Florida for a better lifestyle because Honolulu started to have a drug outbreak called ice and they didn't want her around it. After Bianca graduated high school, she moved back to Honolulu, Hawaii for college where she was majoring in Communications and Management. While she was going to college, she fell in love with a guy named Nanu, who who was Hawaiian and Samoan and going to school on a football scholarship. After they both finished college, Bianca and Nanu got married and moved to Bronx, New York after having Najaliesse.
