Chapter 7

Ellington pov-

I texted Lottie for a while and we arranged to meet up in 3 days and go to the cinema.

" I'm heading to bed!" Ross said jogging up the stairs "your beds ready when you can pull yourself away from the tv"

I looked at the time and realised it was 10 o'clock, wow time went fast.

"Okay il be up in a minute. Thanks for letting me stay here" I said

"No problem" he called

I walked into the kitchen and grabbed a drink before heading up to the spare room

"Night!" I called receiving several back

I got ready for bed and got under the covers still texting Lottie.

"I'm going to have to go:( x" she said as the clock hit 10:30

"Okay x" I replied putting my phone on the side table.

I lay there thinking about today and how amazing she was. Damn it Ell don't get a crush on this girl. She's too good for you

I shut my eyes and tried to block every thought out but it all just came back to Lottie's perfect personality and what an awesome day we had. At least we are friends and I just really hope that lasts.

At about 1am after no sleep I decided to grab another drink as I had finished the first one. I went downstairs and topped up the cup with water before heading back to bed. As I slipped back under the covers my phone went bright. I looked at it and up popped a text from Lottie

"Hey. Sorry if I just woke you up I can't sleep xx"

I picked up the phone and propped myself against the headboard

"Hey. Don't worry I can't sleep either. What's up?x"

"I don't know. Over tired I think. Wbu??xx"

"I'm not sure. Just can't get comfortable x"

We chatted until about 1:30 when she stopped replying. I guessed she had gone to sleep so I sent her one last text

"Night. Sleep well :) xxx " and drifted off to sleep myself with a smile plastered across my face.
