Dear Papa,
Mommy says i can rite you wen i want to talk. (Honey, I just took the paper so it will be legible. She will dictate to me.) I miss you, Papa. When are you coming home?I skinned my knee in PE today. I started to cry, but then Mr. Hugh said that my daddy never cries, and he's in the military, so I shouldn't either, and I stopped crying right then! I said Mommy cries, and he said that's 'cause she's a girl and girls cry and boys don't.
I had to tak the letter from Mommy cus she went of to fone the skool. Miss you! Come back!
Love,
Natty
