Remington's POV

We walked into the garage and I flipped on the light. We had a huge garage. I liked cars a lot, and so did most of the boys. Sasha wasn't as into cars as I was, but the car collection we have going on here is impressive enough to make someone who hated cars go dayum. Hilariously, this is exactly what Sasha did. Her hand flew up to her mouth and she just started laughing.

"Holy Crap Remi!" She laughed.

"I know right." I smiled. I loved my cars. They were like my babies.

"Who belongs to all of these!?"

"Well, since Louis and Harry are the only two who can drive out of the boys and only 3 of these are theirs, the other 3 are mine." I laugh. I spent my first paycheck on my dream car.

"Can you even drive in the UK!?" She looks at me incredulous as she touches my 1957 chevy.

"Yes! Oh my gosh it's the first thing I did after I got citizenship."

"Wait. You're a citizen here?" She stopped dead in her tracks and her head whipped around to look at me.

"Yeah, I have to be. I work here." I explain.

"Do your parents know about this?" And to that I look away from her. I haven't talked to my parents in a long time. I hadn't talked to anyone in a long time. My little brothers must have graduated from high school by now. I wonder what school he's going to. How sad is it that I don't even know. A tear escapes my eyes. "Oh Remi! Rem I'm sorry. I didn't mean to make you cry!" She says, running over to catch the tears falling from my eyes.

"It's been too long since I've seen my family..." I whisper through my tears that are slowly falling.

"I know."

"How are they? Do you still keep up with them?" I asked.

"Your brothers are playing Hockey instead of going to school. You dad is so proud. Your mom's doing well, too. She finally quit working at the grocery store. Since you send them money I guess. Your sister is still in Chicago. She's engaged." She explains and I cry harder.

"I suck as a family member." I say.

"Nah, they know you're busy." She says, rubbing my back as we sit in my Chevy. This was kind of Sasha and I's safe place back home. We'd just sit and talk in the car for hours as kids. That's probably why I like cars so much now. "They're proud of you." She adds and I smile at her. "And your dad loves his cabin." She laughs. I spend some money from the album on a log home for my dad in northern Minnesota. It's always been his dream to own one, and I always told him as a kid that if he got me voice lessons and guitar lessons I'd build him his log home with my one hit wonder.

"That's good." I say, smiling weakly.

"Wont the tour stop in Minnesota at some point?" She asked.

"Yeah actually. I think it's over thanksgiving..." I realize.

"That's in like... a month." She points out.

"Holy crap! I didn't even realize!" I start to perk up at the fact that I'll see my family in a month!

"Calm down cupcake!" She smiles and I laugh at her. "Good, you're feeling better." She says, kissing my cheek. I laugh.

"Harry's gonna get jealous!" I tease.

"Oh god!" We both laugh.

"Should we go shopping now?"

"Yeah sure. Are we taking the 57 Chevy?" she asks, stroking the dashboard of the car we are in.
