|ZANE'S POV|

.

.

I watched My Little Horsies all day. I was supposed to get some sleep, but, I don't seem to care. My arm is killing me. It stings so much. I can't seem to be able to concentrate on anything other than that. I'm starting to fall asleep, so I decide to lay down. I close my computer, and turn around, dragging myself into my bed.

'' I'm tired. I'm tired! Sleep....''

I say to myself, hoping I would trick my body into thinking it needs sleep. I finally get the covers over me, and JUST as i'm about to close my eyes, I get a  call. I look over to my buzzing phone, angry. I pick it up, noticing an unknown number.
"Hello?"
"H-Hey Zane! It's me.. I uh. Was worrying about you, so I had to call you to make sure you were feeling bette-"
"I was trying to sleep."
"You were.."
"Trying to sleep, yes."
There's a moment of utter silence.
"I can sing you a lulla-"
I hang up on him, as he was starting to drive me INSANE!
I sighed as I knew I probably upset him.
Well.. I make everyone sad so.. no biggie. I smiled to myself, and fell asleep.

|TRAVIS' POV|

.

.

"I can sing you a lulla-"
I hear a beep signalling he had hung up.
"..by."
I sigh and smile.
"Maybe I should lay off for a while. He does need sleep."

"Travis! Class is starting! Come on, we'll be late!"
I hear Aphmau yell.
"...Right."

~~~~~~~~~~TIMESKIP~~~~~~~~~
I hear the holy noise of the last school bell.
Since I actually felt tired, I went back home with my Dad, who decided to pick me up.
"Heya, kiddo! Hop in! I'm in a good mood."
My Dad said, starting up the car.
It was kinda awkward in the car. My Dad seemed sober for once, it was, good, I guess. I'm just not used to seeing him in this state.
"Good day at school?"
He says, with a large grin on his face.
I nodd.
"What's on your mind, kid?"
I blush.
"I don't know. My boyf- FRIEND. Hung up on me when I was trying to talk to him."
"Did you try calling him back?"
"No.."
He takes my phone from my backpack, making the car swerve.
"DAD! What are you doing?!"
I yelled, grabbing onto the seat for dear life.
He threw my phone at me, which was a sign to call Zane back.
"Go ahead."
I dial Zane's number, and put the phone against my ear.
Pick up.. pick up...
But no answer.
"So?"
"No answer.."
My Dad smiled as he backed up into the driveway.
"Maybe next time. How about I make dinner tonight?"
"...Sure."
I said, frowning.
We get into the house, and we both go directly to the kitchen.
I go in the fridge, grabbing some beer.
"Uh. I'm not feeling like drinking anything tonight."
"I wasn't taking it for you."
I frown, as I open one and chug it down.
