"Fortunately no. Kapalit naman nun, yung position ko ngayon which is really tiring."

"Pero hindi naman halata sa mukha mo."

"Tss. Ewan ko sayo."

"Anyways, may dadaanan lang tayo saglit bago kumain? Is it okay?"

"Sure."

We did many catch ups during the drive. I even heard that he graduated as Magna Cum Laude too, same course as I am. Sabi niya rin, kaagad ipinasa sa kanya ang family business nila. Noong una, it was hard for him to handle dahil bukod sa maliit lang ang business nila, which is cafes, but he decided to work on it. And he ended up being successful on making their business grow and being one of our board. And the rest is history as he said. He also seems doesn't want to open up a topic concerning Claire, kaya hindi na rin ako nag-tanong. Maybe something happened.

Napansin ko na lang na pumarada kami sa tapat ng isang boutique. And this boutique seems different. It is quite big than other boutiques usually looked like. Seems like kilala 'to and the owner of it.

"Samahan mo muna ako sa loob?" tanong ni Gab

"Sige lang."

Kaagad naman kaming pumasok sa loob. Expensive clothing welcomed us. Parang hollywood stars ang mga clients ng boutique na 'to. Plus the fact that the interior of this boutique has a Paris vibe in it.

"Good afternoon, Sir Gabby." bati sa kanya ng isa sa mga attendant sa loob and she even greeted me

"You're a regular here?" tanong ko.

"Hmm, maybe?" medyo natatawa pa niyang sabi.

Dire-diretso lang kaming nag-lalakad hanggang umakyat kami sa staircase na nandun. When we reached the second floor, several mannequins were there, displaying maybe the owner's best works. I can even see wedding dresses at the other side. Gabby went straight to the only door at that floor and opened it. And he suddenly spoke.

"Bie, look what I got you." nagulat ako sa narinig ko. Sumunod ako kay Gabby papasok at talagang naubusan ako ng salita sa nakita ko. I saw Claire sophistically sitting on her swivel chair.

"Claire?!" still shocked on what I am seeing.

"Mira!!! It's been years sissy!" kaagad siyang tumayo at sinalubong ako ng yakap, "Gosh, I missed you so much!"

"Me too." tumingin ako kay Gabby na naka-ngiti sa'min, "Nangangati akong magtanong kanina kaso mukhang wala kang balak na pag-usapan si Claire. Yun naman pala, kayo pa rin. Glad to know!"

Bumalik ako ng tingin kay Claire. Ang laki na rin ang ipinag-bago niya, "So you're already a grown lady, Miss?" I asked while smiling

"Na uh! I'm still childish. Just improved my taste on fashion." she giggled. She's right, she's still that Claire but a lot more fashionable now.

"Ladies, before we continue the 'talk', would you mind to take our lunch first?"

Kaagad na kinuha ni Claire ang pouch niya sa table niya, "I'm all set!"

"Let's go."

Like she always does before kaagad siyang yumakap sa braso ko habang nag-lalakad. Goodness! How I miss this girl! We went back to Gab's car and drove to the nearest restaurant. After getting ourselves a table and said our orders, Claire can't wait to start up the 'talk'.

"Ang tagal mo ring nawala sissy! How many years? 6? 7?"

"7 years."

"Tas wala ka man lang pasabi na aalis ka pala." she said while pouting
