TOMIKA'S POV
"I'm gonna find Zack now. I am gonna let you clear your mind."
"Thanks" Freddy said as I went back to the school.
"Zack!" I saw Zack walking and I ran to him.
"Tomika?"
"Zack, I heard about the gig. Are you ok?"
"Why do you care?"
"Because you're my friend, and I care about my friends."
"Yeah I'm fine. It's just that, I can't take my mind off of her."
"Maybe it's time you move on. That's what Summer is doing. When is the gig?"
"May 12" Zack said. Then I got a notification
"You have time to get over her then."
"That's like, 2 days from now-"
"AHHHHH!"
"What?!"
"WE GOT A GIG! BRB!"
"Thanks for the pep talk!" Zack said sarcastically
"No problem!" I said running to the classroom where Mr. Finn was.
"Mr. Finn! We got a gig!?" I say barging into the classroom. The rest of the band was already there.
"Yep. And guess where it is. In LA!"
"WHAT?!" Me and Freddy yell.
"What's wrong?" Lawrence asks
"The Crushed Skulls got a gig in LA too and guess who else is there?" I said
"Summer?" Mr. Finn asks
"Yes. But we can still go. I'm fine with it." Freddy said
"Great. It's on May 12."
"WHAT?!" I yell
"What's wrong now?!" Lawrence asks
"That's when Zack and his band goes!"
"Great" Freddy said sarcastically
"Freddy, are you up for it?" Mr. Finn asks
"Yeah. I am."
"Great! We go tomorrow and and come back a day after the gig. So we stay there for 3 days. Got it?" Mr. Finn asks.
"Yeah." Me, Freddy, and Lawrence say.
Forgot to say that Freddy and Jada broke up in this story. Also next chapter is when they leave.
Zack's POV
I didn't tell Tomika this but we actually leave today and come back the day after the gig. So we stay there for 3 days. Me and the guys put our luggages in the trunk and get in the car. And we were on our way to LA.
"I can't beleive this is happening. A gig in LA!" Oliver says.
Oh yeah and BTW Oliver is 19 years old. Zack couldn't find another person in the school who wanted to be in his band.
" I know right!" Kaden says as we were driving to the airport.
At the airport
Tomika's POV
We arrived at the airport. We grabbed our luggages and went through security. After we went to security we went to our plane.
Also it was a 3 day weekend for them. And they told their parents they were gonna go on a field trip.
We arrived LA.
