"Wow! No wonder he goes all out." We walked through the front door and my nostrils were bombarded by the stench of alcohol and sweat, lots of sweat.
"Oh yippee! More alcohol. I think the smell is stronger than the end of year party he threw."
"It definitely reeks in here. You want a drink?"
"No thanks. I learned I don't hold liquor very well last year at one of these."
"Oh really? What kind of drunk are you?" He said smiling.
"Wouldn't you like to know." I said smiling back.
"Yes I would. So what is it. Angry, depressed, happy, hysterical, loopy, or my personal favorite willing to do anything." He said now smirking.
"I guess you'll just have to wait to find out at the next party." Now I was smirking.
"Alright fine. I'll be right back. Going to go find me a beer." He said walking away. I started walking towards the back of the house when someone touches my butt. I spin around to see a really drunk guy trying to get me to dance with him.
"Touch me again and you'll never have children." I said watching him back away with his hands up.
"Sorry babe, just tryin to have some fun." He turned around to go find some other poor girl to harass.
"Disgusting pig." I muttered. This is why I hated Sean's open invitation parties. Practically everyone from our school showed up. That sounds terrible but some people really shouldn't be invited.
"Hello sweetheart. Are you enjoying the party?" Someone said putting their arms around me. I turned around and saw Sean. I tried pulling away but it didn't work.
"Not really your closed invitation parties are so much better."
"I agree, but it was for a football game so I had to invite the whole school."
"Then you need to throw another one really soon because I'm not about to drink at this one."
"Damn I was hoping you would. Alright I'll throw another one, how about a pool party." He said smiling.
"A pool party? Like the kind you threw when you were 14, because I won't show up for that one." I said smiling. We were actually having a real conversation this is weird, but I kind of like it.
"Nope I'm thinking a grown up pool party. You know the kind with no swim suits."
"Again not showing up for that one either. You'll have to do a lot better than that."
"OK OK, how about just a party, that has a pool that would be open for people to swim in....with their suits on."
"As long as their is some sort of alcohol."
"Of course. I'm not stupid."
"That's questionable."
"I'm going to let that one slide. So what did you think of the game?"
"It was good. Although the excessive celebrating on your part was kind of cheesy."
"I agree, but I did have some very nice touchdowns AND touchdown passes."
"Yes you did." Did I mention Sean was the quarterback? And a damn good one too. College recruiters were watching him his freshman year. That's how good he is. Only thrown one interception his whole football career- he's been playing since 6th grade- it wasn't even his fault either it was the receivers, he bobbled it and let the other team catch it.
"So are you going to apologize or what?" And there he goes ruining it. "I'd also take a thank you."
"Thank for jumping my car and bringing it to my house. And what exactly am I apologizing for?"
