'Cause you are the piece of me I wish I didn't need
Chasing relentlessly, still fight and I don't know why
If our love is tragedy, why are you my remedy?
If our love's insanity, why are you my clarity

...

Walk on through a red parade and refuse to make amends
It cuts deep through our ground and makes us forget all common sense
Don't speak as I try to leave 'cause we both know what we'll choose
If you pull then I'll push too deep and I'll fall right back to you

Friday came by quicker than Caitlin had hoped. Mostly, because she was dreading the dinner with the Zolamons tonight. She wasn't sure what her parents were trying to do but she had a feeling it had something to do with Hunter. Anger boiled inside of her veins at the very thought of her parents having the audacity to even consider setting her up with someone. She already had a wonderful boyfriend. She didn't need or want Hunter. She loves Barry and could never even picture being with anyone else.

As she walked in the door after an uneventful yet exhausting day at school, the shrill voice of her mother called her from the kitchen.

"Caitlin, dear. Remember, we have dinner with the Zolamons tonight," she reminded, not turning her gaze to her daughter, just continued scanning what looked like a bridal magazine.

"Yes, mom, how could I forget?" Caitlin replied, sarcasm dripping from her voice as she began to walk away from her mother.

"Wait, this came in the mail for you. Looks like it's from Central City," Mrs. Snow stopped her. Immediately, Caitlin's eyes lit up and she ran towards the envelope and grabbed it before running upstairs and into her room, leaving her bag and jacket abandoned on the floor.

She made herself comfortable on the bed then carefully opened the envelope. She recognized the handwriting to be Barry's and was curious what could be in this letter that he could not say over a phone call or a Skype conversation.

Slowly, she read through the letter, each word hitting her heart in the most beautiful way imaginable. Every letter made her fall even deeper in love with him, despite the fact that she didn't think that was possible before now. As she finished reading, tears of emotion, sentiment, joy, and love welled in her big brown eyes and streamed down her flushing cheeks.

She yearned to tell him that she felt the same way about him. That he was her soulmate and her true love. She was truly his and no one else's and she too always would be.

She clutched the letter close to her and whispered to it: "I love you so much, Barry."

Over the next couple hours, Caitlin tried to concentrate on some school work but her mind kept wandering to the letter. This happened so often that she found herself reading it over and over again and soon had it memorized word for word. However, she preferred to read the letter in Barry's handwriting so it seemed more real. The best part about the letter was that she could keep it with her at all times to remind her. Anything that would remind her Barry would be in her possession every second of the day.

She felt that she needed tp be reminded of his sweet smile, enchanting eyes and soft kisses that she craved to feel aginst hers again.

Most nights she dreamt of him and when she was awake she would envision moments together. Even the most intimate and private of which.'

"Caitlin! You must get ready!" Caitlin's Mother called from downstairs.

"Yes, mom," Caitlin replied then jumped in the shower and getting ready for dinner.
