8. In a different solar system, the planet 55 Cancri e (also known as Janssen) is an exoplanet with a possible diamond inner core! Research suggests the planet has no water at all and appears to be composed primarily of carbon (as graphite and diamond), iron, silicon carbide, and, possibly, some silicates. The study estimates that at least a third of the planet's mass – the equivalent of about three Earth masses – could be diamond. However, bringing back even 1/100 of the diamond from 40 light-years away would completely crash the economy.
