X-23 x Reader

You walked behind Striker and many other scientist giving them a tour of the new Weapon X program. There were many incubators containing fetuses and rooms with kids ranging from age. You an another one of the subjects were the oldest at the age of 15.

Although you were the same age, she didn't know you existed, or it seemed that way. You walked the group towards one of the "danger rooms" with Laura or X-23 as the scientists called her practice and show off her skills. You smiled at her hitting every opponent with ease not missing a beat.

You didn't notice that the group left you watching Laura which became awkward when you actually did notice and made very long eye contact with her not even blinking. She rolled her eyes and left the room to which you sighed leaving the area before anything more embarrassing could happen. As you walked down the corridor you bumped into something and took a few steps back finding your balance before you fell.

You looked up and saw Laura growling at the pain of her butt hitting the ground. She looked up at you and grabbed you by the hem of your shirt pulling you close to her face, so close that your lips interlocked. Laura pulled away and pushed you off her.

"Happy?"

You were confused on her question and didn't know how to answer.

"Yes actually. I've been meaning to tell you how I felt about you, and don't worry it's positive."

"Yea right. You're just saying that to make me feel better." She quickly replied to your comment.

"But I like you and not just as a friend."

She was taken aback on what you said and smiled. You smiled back and enjoyed seeing her smile it was rare for her to do and your glad it was just for you.

"Sorry for being so closed about my emotions."

"It's alright Laura I get it kinda hard to trust people here."

She reached in for your hand and lead you to her padded room so you guys can hang out and continue talking.
