Dinosaurs

The disclosure was covered in paint,
The world was ending,
Everything was making me insane,
The thought of dying was trending,

Although you were standing in a paint splattered corner,
Your eyes are so much darker,
You were wondering,
I really wish I could I hold her,

But there was a dinosaur,
You quickly pulled her to the floor,
You used the last piece of defense you could,
But the dinosaur just stood,

Unphased to the pain you inflicted,
You nervously shifted,
Wondering "How do I kill it?",
You left her there in the unending pit,

You left her there.

She's alone now,
Wondering what when and how?
The dinosaur gnashed it's hungry teeth together,
As he ate her and she was gone forever,

Your paint covered body,
You cried there at the remains of her body,
No one was there to comfort you,
But it was too late now,
You were going to lose.

The dinosaur turned to you,
It stared you in the eyes,
Wondering why didn't you choose?
Instead of making up lies,

Promising to save the girl,
And now she's not even on this world,
She's burning in the acid of the dinosaur's stomach,
You were trying not to lose it.

You walked on with your paintbrush,
Being creative with every lie,
You created pictures of lust,
And you didn't even need to try,

The dinosaur stayed away from you,
Letting you live because of these moves,
Because killing you was too easy,
Letting you live a life of lie already meant you would die uneasily,

Your paintbrush was swift, and collected,
You hurt so many people,
But you were unaffected,
You should've just left it.

You should've placed your paintbrush beside her remains,
So no more people would get hurt these past few days,
If you didn't like her it was something you should say,
But now you're just trying to push the dinosaur away.

The dinosaur is unavoidable,
It's terrorizing the city which is making things terrible,
You're supposed to be the hero aren't you,
Why didn't you make your move?

But you didn't save her now,
