"No, I've had enough of your bullshit!"

Not again.

"Fuck you!" Lovely. What a great way to start the new day.

I slowly opened my eyes and had to blink a several times before my eyes could focus on the clock. 10 am. It was my day off, I could've slept till noon if I wasn't awakened by the sound of them fighting. I sighed and sat up on my bed as I heard the sound of Haley's heels clicked at the hall, then the front door was shut closed. It was the routine of their relationship, they couldn't go a week without fighting. I grabbed my sweatshirt and wore it before heading out of my bedroom.

I needed to take a shower but before that, I walked towards my brothers room. The door was open, the room was a complete mess, his dirty clothes were laying on the floor, cigarette butts were everywhere, my eyes even caught a ripped opened condom foil and I wrinkled my nose in disgust. How could he manage to live in this mess? I added cleaning up his room to my to do list for the day. He was sitting on the edge of his bed, his back was turned to me. I leaned against the edge of the door and looked at him, I love how he didn't have any tattoos on his back, he had enough on his arms and chest.

"Good morning." I said and he turned around to look at me.

"Morning." He said with his deep morning voice. He got up and grabbed a cigarette from the drawer, I always hated when he smoked with an empty stomach. But I knew he wasn't in the mood to listen my life lessons right now so I kept my mouth shut.

"So what did you do this time?" I asked, he had this 'I don't care' look on his face but I knew that wasn't true.

"Nothing!" He snapped and took a breath from his cigarette, white smoke slowly came out of his mouth and vanished seconds later. "She's crazy!" I knew that wasn't true either. Haley was a sweet girl, the problem was him.

He walked past me to the hall with the cigarette between his fingers and I followed him. "Zayn." I said and sat on the counter. "You went to Becca again, didn't you?"

He didn't aswer and I took it as a yes. I've never understood why he kept seeing that girl when he had Haley. I knew he truly cared about Haley, maybe even more than I thought but it seemed like he kept breaking her heart over and over again by seeing the towns biggest skank.

"Coffee?" He asked, I nodded and he added water to the coffee machine.

"She'll come back." He said, I didn't know if he was talking to me or to himself. But I knew she will, she always did.

"What if she won't?" I raised my eyebrows, he looked at me for a second and turned his gaze away again, I could see that he scowled because of what I said. "She will though. She loves you." I said and he tried to hide his smile which he failed. "You only need to stop being an ass to her." I laughed.

Zayn laughed with me and splashed water on my face, I screamed and laughed even harder. I loved the little fun moments we shared, I loved every second of them.

He handed my mug to me and I took it as I sat on a chair. "Are you working today?"

"Yea." He said and leaned against the counter. "Niall's coming here to pick me up. What are you gonna do?"

"Nothing." I shrugged and frowned. I was worried about him because he was never talking about his new job that he got almost a month ago. Sometimes he wasn't even coming home all night and whenever I asked about it, all he was saying was 'Mind your own business.'

"Stop worrying about me, Annie." he said. Great, now we were back to Annie, the nickname he used for me whenever he did something wrong. "I'm okay, I promise."
