Pippa,

The signal up here is awful, and the WiFi isn't working, so I decided that perhaps this would be the best way for us to communicate whilst I'm away. I know that it isn't anywhere near as quick as a phone call or a chat over text, but it's still something.

Besides, it's making me feel nostalgic.

It's odd that a letter and a meddling goddaughter managed to get us to this point. But I'm so glad that it did. Had Liv not convinced me to write to someone, I would never have met you, and I can't begin to express how truly happy you make me. You've managed to ground me, and made me feel settled, and I haven't felt that in a long time.

Tell me something new that I didn't know about you? We've managed to speak a lot, but there must be a story sat somewhere within you that you haven't shared with me yet. A happy memory from your childhood, something embarrassing or stupid that your brothers did when they were younger? The pride of opening up the store. Anything, and everything, please.

Also, I was thinking, when I get back - between filming and press tours - perhaps you and I should take that trip to the grand canyon that you said you'd always wanted to go on. It feels right that our first vacation should be something you're intrigued by. I think I'd be happy going just about anywhere, so long as it made you smile.

I didn't have much time to write today, I'm sorry. I'm exhausted from training, we've got a boot camp type thing for this first weekend, and oh god, I ache in muscles that I forgot I had. It's going well, though, and the cast and crew are always a laugh to spend time with. However, I can't wait to come home already.

I miss you. (Only 30 days left to go)

Write back,

Seb
