Fishlegs

As we walked inside the Great Hall, I see Hiccup. His expression was nervous as he knew that retelling what he had been through these past few weeks had been for him.

I couldn't blame him. If I was in his shoes, I would be overwhelmed with it.

Astrid, Stoick, Snoutlout and I gathered at a table as Hiccup was stare at us nervously.

Hiccup asked, "So, I guess you really want to know the truth, huh?"

We nodded as Hic sighed.

Hiccup

I sighed. This could be a quite a while for the gang to digest the real story.

"Ok, it happened three weeks ago. When I thought that everyone in the village thought I was a disgrace. I didn't know how to react so, the only thing I can do was be mean to everyone."

Dad was in total shock when I revealed that. He didn't know that I was lonely.

"Wait, is that why you were so angry and your temper gets easily tick?" Gobber asks, remembering what I've done ever since I was seven years old.

I rubbed my head, "Yeah, but that is the old me."

I looked at Astrid. Her cheeks were blushing.

"So, remember that raid we had a few days back?" I asked.

They nodded, remembering that night. I looked at Toothless, which was harder for him, mostly because I'm going to tell them how he died.

Toothless

Hearing how I died, was the most terrifying moment of my life.

Emily sees me with concern and worried expression.

"You ok? I know this is how you and Hiccup met."  She asks me.

I looked at the Nadder with a nervous grin.

"Well, after you left, I brought a pocket knife with me." Hic said.

The teens looked at him with shock expression on their faces then looked at me.

"Hiccup... you mean that with that knife..." Astrid stutters.

"Yeah, I killed Toothless, but after I did, something happened, a black cloud surrounded me and I passed out."

That's when I decided to speak up. "It was my idea."

Astrid asks, "Wait, really, bud?"

Hiccup turns to her with utter shock. "Wait, you can understand Toothless?"

"I learnt to speak Dragonese while you were in the coma. Sorry, I'm interrupting." She apologizes.

"Well, after that, I guess that was the first time I shifted. I didn't remember much of it." Hiccup explains, rubbing his head.

"Oh, that kind of explains a lot." Fishlegs said, remembering that night.

Astrid looks at him, respectfully. She must've known that explaining the whole story of our bond will be a challenge for Hiccup.

"When I woke up, I realized I wasn't in Berk, but in a beautiful cove.

I didn't know how I got there, exactly. I also ate a salmon for breakfast.
