Astrid

We waited for Hiccup. I paced back and forth nervously as Emily tries to comfort me.

"You think he'll be fine?" I asked the Nadder. Since I can't understand her language, but she notices how worried I was.

As she was about to reply, I see a familiar black dragon approaching towards us.

He lands as he transforms into Hiccup. I yelled, "Hiccup!"

I run towards the young teen as I embraced him with a hug.

"Whoa, Astrid, you worried about me?" He said.

"Yeah, I was, you fishbone!" I laughed but then my expression changes.

"What?" He asks me.

"It's just... Hiccup, this is crazy! You being the Dragon Prince, and have to defeat the Dragon Queen... and I don't know what will happen-"

He shook his head and kissed me to shut me up.

"Well, that is one way to get me quiet." I said, grinning.

He rubs his head in embarrassment.

"Well, it's the only way that I can think of. If that was too much-" He began to say, but I said, "Hiccup, it's all right. I really needed that."

Emily smiles at the two of us as we go backwards, felt embarrassed that we showed her our second kiss.

Hiccup

I didn't realized that Emily was watching us kissing one other. Sure, Astrid is brave, reckless, and most beautiful girl I've known since childhood, but getting to kiss her was one of the things I never have the courage to do.

"Hiccup Haddock, I never see you in love before."  Emily smirks as Astrid and I realized she was there. We quickly jumped backwards, feeling embarrassed of the situation.

"Uh, let's pretend that we didn't kiss." I said to Astrid.

"Right. Besides, we're not a couple." She replies, blushing.

As I thought about it, I was actually considering us as a couple, but we have to deal with the whole "Dragon Prince" thing first.

I see the gang with their own dragons.

"We will begin by learning to fly with your dragon. I'll be Toothless for a bit for your lesson." I said to the group.

Astrid and the other teens looked at me as if I was crazy.

"What?" I asked them.

"Uh, do you have an idea if anyone spots you? I mean, it's great you're the Dragon Prince and all, but I would be more careful." Snoutlout said, worried about this idea.

"You're looking at the Dragon Prince, the one destined to defeat the Dragon Queen! How bad can it possibly be?" I asked.

As my cousin was about to reply to my answer, a net came out of nowhere.

"Look out!"  Emily cries as she pushes me out of the way to be captured instead of me.

I hear the villagers approaching.

I instantly transform and then start doing my plasma blasts at the villagers.

"Night Fury!" Gobber yells.

As I flew through the crowd, I knew I had to save Emily. She was my friend, my kin. There is no way I'll leave her to die, just like I done to Toothless.

Emily sees me and yelled, "Go, Hiccup, I'm not that important right now! You should focus on the most important thing right now: Defeating the Queen."

I knew she was right, but it pains me of seeing her like this.

As I flew away from Emily and the throng of Vikings, I blasted one of the posts of Berk as a sign I will return for her.

Stoick hears my blast, and yelled, "I'll get you if it's the last thing I do!"

I sighed as I transformed into my old human self and screamed in anger.

"Ahh!"

Snoutlout

I had to do something. Emily is the only friend that Hiccup has and it meant the world to Hiccup.

Seeing her captured by the Vikings made me realized of that Dragons aren't evil as I thought they were.

My Dad came up to me saying, "Son, did you see that? That beast could've destroyed us all!"

"She's not dangerous, Dad! Either does the Night Fury we had seen these past few days."

Stoick and the whole throng looked at me with utter shock expression on their faces.

"You thought these beasts-" Dad began to say, but I stood up against him, "Those dragons did everything in their power to survive on their own, raising their own children, like we do. You think killing them is the only answer to our problem, then that's your way. Not ours."

Hiccup was watching in far distance, and seems to be in awe of my speech.

Stoick said, "You are a disgrace of treating your father like that, nephew."

"Hm, you really struck a nerve, Stoick. I am beginning to understand what Hic has been through these past seven years. You're too stubborn to listen to what we have to say."

The Vikings began to wonder if that is why the Heir of Berk is so grumpy all the time, but I knew the truth.

As I walked from the crowd, I sighed and petted Hookfang.

"Snoutlout, that was incredible!" A voice said.

I turned to see Astrid and the others. They still flabbergasted of what just happened.

"Wow, Snoutlout, I never seen you that mad before." Hiccup commented, then smiles at me, "Thanks for sticking up for Emily and me."

"I really meant what I've said out there, Hiccup. Don't worry, we'll get Emily out. It's a promise I'll never break." I replied to my cousin.

Hiccup said, "Emily told me to remain focus on defeating the Dragon Queen. I had to do this, guys. For all of Berk and the Dragons themselves. The Dragon Queen's reign has to stop, once and for all!"

"Now I'm starting to like the new " Hiccup" after all." I grinned at the Viking's determation.
