Chapter 18 [Plot Twist]

"oh how tragic and romantic" he said with a smirk as Santana pulled Dani behind her

"stay behind me.." she whispered as her eyes watched every move the vampire took.

"Damen..." Dani whispered as if she knew him from before 

"you still recognise me huh ?" Damen said as he walked closer while Santana pushed Dani back with her.

"you know him..?" Santana asked 

"oh she knows me" he said with a smirk 

"you...your the one who turned Stefan, Tori and Jade into vampires.." Dani said 

"yeah thats right but you forgot one little detail" he said with a bigger smirk 

"your my brother......" Dani said as she looked at him 

"what..." Santana said turning around and looking at Dani..

"i see you still remember" Damen said with a smirk 

"how couldn't i....you were the best brother any girl could want.." Dani said as she walked closer to him but was grabbed by Santana stopping her from getting to close

"don't pull that crap on me Dani...if i was the best brother you would've came looking for me.."Damen said and for the first time losing his smirk.

"you don't think i tried.." Dani argued "i was 7 what could i have done ?" she said in defence.

"whatever that doesn't matter anymore i'm dead and i don't understand why it wasn't you who died." Damen said getting closer and angrier.

"you know what i wish i was the one who died...look at what you've done...you've killed many people your age...why?"

"because it's not fair.. all i ever did was try to protect you and look where that got me..dead"

"how is it my fault ?" Dani argued

"because of you i'm dead because i protected you  because i was there for you because i loved you...now you'll pay" he said grabbing Dani's neck.."trust me this is a favor for all the one's who knew you"

"hey!!! get of her" Santana yelled as she pulled him away from Dani

"i see i'm gonna have to kill you first" Damen said with a smirk

"not if i kill you first" Santana said ready to attack him again

"no!" Dani yelled "kill me..kill me okay but don't touch her.."

"Dani no i'm not letting this freak of a brother touch you..." Santana said walking closer to Dani as Dani let her tears fall from her eyes..

"Santana please....i can't let you get hurt.." Dani said as Santana shook her head.

"no ..no i'm not gonna stand here and let you go.." Santana said as she got closer with tears in her eyes.."i love you..."

"i love you to and that's why i'm doing this..." Dani said then kissed Santana fo the very last time....and pulled away as soon as she heard clapping sounds and laughter from Damen as two vampires came rushing to stand by him.

"get her" he said with a smirk and pointed to Santana two off the vampires held Santana back.

"Dani..no..no NO!" Santana said as she was being pulled back as Dani cried watching the love of her life being pulled away from her.

"love.." Damen said chuckling "they say it's strength" he said as he grabbed Dani and pulled her towards him then turned her around to face Santana "but in reality..." he paused as he pushed back all Dani's hair to one side ready to bite her while Santana was screaming trying to get out of the grip of both vampires that held her..."its weakness" he whispered before biting Dani's neck hard sucking her blood as Dani screamed while the venom spread threw her body

"NOO!" Santana yelled and finally broke free from the two vampires that held her and pulled Damen away from Dani. "go run Dani go..!!" Santana said as Damen tried to catch her 

"but San-"

"Dani go!!" Santana yelled as Dani ran far away 

"you little bitch" Damen said and stuck a sharp spread of wood into Santana ...all Dani heard was Santana's scream making her slow down..and thats when she fell and went all blank until a couple hours later when Stefan found her.."

Dani got out of her vision and fell to the floor grabbing on to her neck as if she had been chocked just like in her vision. she opened and closed her eyes just to make sure she was out of her vision Santana went rushing to Dani.

"are you okay..?" Santana asked..

"i know who killed me..." Dani said then looked at Santana..."it was my brother..."
