I got to school on Tuesday and everyone was giving me looks. I got to my locker and Hayes was there.
"What's going on?" I asked him.
"Your sister told everyone we kissed." he said.
"Are you mad?" I said louder than meaning to.
"No it's.."
I flung my stuff down and ran downstairs to the picnic tables outside. I put my face in my hands and started to cry.
"Sky!" Hayes shouted.
I looked up and ignored him. He came down and sat next to me.
"Sky, I'm not mad." he said.
"Well it seemed like it!" I shouted.
"I'm not used to the attention. That's what I was trying to tell you," he smiled, " I did it, why would I be mad about it?"
He brought my face next to his, "I love you."
I gave him a hug and walked home. I didn't think I could make it the rest of the day.
I played XBOX until Asialyn got home.
"I need to talk to you!" I shouted, barging into her room.
"What?" she asked.
"I can't believe you!" I yelled, " you told the whole school I kissed Hayes!"
"So," she stood up, "what does it matter?"
"It's my 4th week and everyone already hates me!" I walked into my room, "So much for best friends." I flung a bracelet at her.
"Why are you so mad?" she shouted.
"Asialyn you just don't get it! It wasn't your buisness to tell! Just leave me alone!"
I said, tears streaming down my face.
I heard her moan but she left the room.
I lost my best friend, all I had left was Nash and Hayes Grier.
