June 12
"Juggie are you working on a article for the paper?" Betty asked without taking her eyes off her work
"Ya I am, it is almost done" Jughead replied
"So, umm, last night was a little weird, right?" Betty asked now looking at Jughead
"Totally, it was umm so weird" Jughead replied
"Ya it was weird, but I was thinking maybe if you want to we could go out, ummm just the two of us. Alone no Ronnie no Archie just you and me?"
"Betty are you asking me out on a date?"
"Do you not want to go out with me Juggie?"
"I do it's just a little strange that's all."
"Ok so can you come pick me up at 6:00?"
"Ya sure, where do you want to go?"
"I was thinking we could get dinner at "Pop's" and then go watch a movie at the twilight."
"Ok sounds good to me."

Jughead's POV
When Betty asked me out I was thrilled I have had a crush on her since we were little and now I was going out on a date with Betty Cooper, the Betty Cooper, but I can't help thinking that she is doing this to make Archie jealous if she is this can't happen, not like this anyway.

June 12, lunch
Archie and Veronica were sitting next to each other, Betty and Jughead were siting next to each other and Kevin was sitting in between Betty and Veronica.
"So." Veronica say string to start a conversation. "What are you gonna do tonight Betty." Veronica asked this question as if she knew that Betty and Jughead were going out on a date
"Oh you know, studying gonna watch a movie stuff like that." She looked back and forth form Veronica to Jughead
"How about you Jughead what are your plans?" Veronica turned to Jughead noticing how Betty kept looking at him
"I'm just gonna go and work at the twilight it's the last night that it's open."
"You guys know you can tell us if you are going out on a date right?"
"But we aren't." Betty tried to look confused but just looked angry
"Ok sure." Veronica winked
"We're not going out Ronnie!" Now Betty was mad, but why? Betty stormed off and Jughead followed her.
"What's wrong Betty?" He asked when he finally got caught up with her she was in the blue and gold head quarters
"You saw how mad Archie got when we went on a double date with him and Ronnie right!" Betty yelled at him
"So that was why you didn't tell them, because of Archie?"
"Yes he would've gotten mad at you and hurt you and I love you too much for that to happen."
"You what me?"
"I love you Jughead Jones, I love you."
"Betty I..I...Love you too." Jughead struggled to get those last words out. They both leaned in to kiss each other but little did they know Someone saw them. They came out of the blue and gold head quarters and Betty apologized to Veronica but that was all she could say before Kevin dragged her and Jughead back into the blue and gold head quarters
"What was That!" Kevin yelled
"Umm what." Betty asked worried that Kevin found out about her and Jughead
"That apology how fake can you get Jughead you have to apologize a lot help her!"
"OK this was weird I'm going." Jughead says as he walks toward the door
"Not so fast weirdo." Cheryl says while blocking the doorway
"Ok what is going on?" Betty asks confused
"Please I saw you two making out in here." Cheryl accused
"We did not make out we kissed!" Betty yelled
"You guys kissed!" Veronica was in the doorway now
"According to Cheryl." Kevin says
"Please don't tell Archie he would get so angry and hurt Juggie and I love  him too much to let that happen." Betty didn't even notice what she just said until Veronica repeated it. Betty just let her biggest secret out.
